Who Is Eli Dangerfield?
Eli Dangerfield creates the eCommerce course, Six Figure Brand Accelerator. He teaches people how to build an eCommerce brand.
Like many marketing gurus, Eli Dangerfield likes to flaunt his wealth on Instagram
But please keep in mind that many gurus are just faking it to get people to sign up for their courses. They simply rent a car or even a private plane for video shoots. They sell you the lifestyle that most people want.
So is Eli Dangerfield really good at eCommerce. In fact, Eli Dangerfield owns an eCommerce store called Elmore Lewis, an online watch brand. Eli Dangerfield claims that his eCommerce business brings him $300,000 every month, but I think $300,000 is just the total sales, not the net profit.
Also, when I go to Elmore Lewis’s Facebook page and Instagram, there are no new posts for almost a year. There are very few social engagements. The store is not running any paid ads as well. So I doubt if it is making any money because there are no very few visitors to the online store.
So I suspect Eli Dangerfield makes most of his money selling his eCommerce course, not his eCommerce store.
Either way, should you join his Six Figure Brand Accelerator? First, let’s take a look at the course content.
Recommendation: Here’s The Best Alternative
Six Figure Brand Accelerator Overview
Six Figure Brand Accelerator is not a very long course. The quality of the training is only mediocre. Eli Dangerfield does not teach you unique strategies to be successful.
The course consists of 6 modules:
- Mindset training
- Product research
- Calculate profit margins
- Building your online store
- How to create social media ads
- Scaling
The content outline is very similar to other eCommerce courses on the market. You can learn the same for free online as well. So I’m not impressed by the course content.
Ecommerce Mentoring
If you would like Eli Dangerfield to mentor you personally, he also offers a mentoring program. Since it is personal mentoring, you will have to pay thousands of dollars for him. And to sign up for his mentoring program, you need to submit an application
In this application, you need to give him the following information:
- Email address
- Name
- Phone number
- Age
- Country
- Experience
- How many hours you’d be able to dedicate
- How much you want to make
- How important this is for you
- How much do you have for a budget
I don’t recommend his mentorship program because it is too expensive. You may not be able to make the money back at the end of the day.

Six Figure Brand Accelerator Pricing
Six Figure Brand Accelerator doesn’t come cheap. It costs $997. There are better training courses that don’t cost as much.
Plus, you can’t get a refund if you don’t like the course. This is a red flag because all reputable courses offer at least a 14-day money back guarantee. Not having a refund option makes no sense.
Who is Six Figure Brand Accelerator For?
I think this course is just good for complete newbies. The material explains wonderfully what eCommerce is and how to get started with your own online store.
But that’s about it. There’s nothing else to learn here, so advanced students shouldn’t expect much.
Pros and Cons of Six Figure Brand Accelerator
Pros
- Eli Dangerfield will teach you the basics of eCommerce
- Eli Dangerfield seems to be successful in eCommerce, but his major income source should be from his online course.
Cons
- The course is overpriced given that the course quality is just mediocre.
- There is no refund even if you don’t like the course. This is a big red flag when there is no money-back guarantee at all.
- No verified success stories of students
- Most of the information can be found online for free
Is Eli Dangerfield a Scam or Legit?
I cannot say Eli Dangerfield is a scam. There is no sufficient evidence to say so. He does teach you the basics of eCommerce. But I don’t recommend his course because the training is not good enough to help you succeed.
Also, the course is too expensive. It doesn’t teach you anything special but charges you a thousand dollars.
Moreover, eCommerce is not as easy as you thought. Since the advertising cost has increased over the years and many people are doing it now, you will face a lot of competition.
Eli Dangerfield only tells you the good parts to sell you his course. He does not tell you about the problems of e-commerce that you should know about before you start.
Let me tell you more in the next section.

Is eCommerce Still a Viable Option?
I did eCommerce before, what I can tell you is that eCommerce has become increasingly difficult. If you want to build a 6 figure eCommerce business, you need to shed some blood, sweat and tears to figure out how it works.
Here are a few points why I would not recommend eCommerce:
1. Financial Risk
Your eCommerce store won’t sell ANYTHING if you don’t ADVERTISE. But Facebook ads costs are skyrocketing and will eat away your PROFITS. You might need weeks or even months to just break even, before seeing any profit.
In another word, you have to take a huge FINANCIAL RISK in eCommerce.
2. Facebook ads are Pricey and Difficult
After observing most dropshippers’ results, at best, the total Facebook ad cost will account for at least 30% of your total sales.
But Facebook ads seldom stay effective for too long. Once your ad has exhausted the audience, it becomes ineffective. Your total revenue will be much lower and even result in net loss.
According to Forbes, Facebook saw an increase in Ad costs of 90% year-on-year.
Worse still, the learning curve of Facebook ads is quite steep because Facebook changes its algorithm all the time. You have to invest a lot of time and money in learning and testing Facebook Ads.
If you run Facebook ads without any experience, your ad account will be banned for violating their strict policies.
3. Customer Support
In eCommerce, you have to spend a lot of time communicating with suppliers and dealing with customer service.
If your customer has any issues with the product, you have to wait for your supplier to help you. If your supplier is not helpful, you have to bear the loss yourself. Therefore, many eCommerce stores have poor customer review and have no returning customers.
In the worst case, you would expect a lot of credit card chargebacks, which risk getting your payment gateway shut down.
4. A lot of work on product research
For your store to keep making money, you always have to find a product that has the momentum to go viral in order that the ads costs can be covered.
In eCommerce, most products reach their peak in 1-2 months or even weeks. This is because many competitors will steal your product and create a better ad. Or increase their budgets on Facebook ads to outbid you.
Therefore, you need to keep finding new replacements to keep generating cash flow.
You might see people post revenues online but they don’t tell you the net revenue.
Some of them might be making money but it’s not sustainable.
The eCommerce business model is not as passive as you think. Most people who succeed in eCommerce are doing it full time because it requires you to keep finding new products, creating new stores, testing new ads and looking for new suppliers to make your income stable.

Is There Any Better Alternative To Make Money Online?
If you don’t want to waste your time or risk your hard earned money, you might wonder if there is a better business model that doesn’t need Facebook ads and can do it as a side-hustle.
Yes, I would suggest you getting started with affiliate marketing. It is far easier and less time consuming as you don’t even need to handle customer service.
In affiliate marketing, you can run your business almost with zero cost. Most importantly, you don’t need to invest in creating and developing any products.
But How Much Can You Earn in Affiliate Marketing?
A 21-year old student from my #1 recommended training platform of affiliate marketing was able to earn $7,395 in just 1 week, which means he made more than $1k a day…all while using free traffic methods and affiliate marketing.
Wealthy Affiliate has existed for more than 10 years and there are many success stories over the years.
