Below is what I’m going to cover in this Blog Growth Engine review:

What is Blog Growth Engine?

Adam Enfroy’s Blog Growth Engine (BGE) is an online course that teaches you how to develop, run and monetize a blog just like a startup CEO.

Adam said that everyone from amateurs to seasoned professionals can benefit from this course.

While newbies will learn how to build and monetize a blog from the ground up, affiliate marketers and writers will be able to use his proven techniques to expand their businesses.

The course includes other materials, such as checklists, in addition to Adam’s video lessons.

Besides, you can join a private Facebook group and seek advice from other students.

The three fundamentals you’ll learn are as follows:

1. How to start & launch your blog

No matter how much or how little blogging experience you have, you will find useful information here. Detailed, behind-the-scenes information will guide you through the process of starting a successful blog.

2. How to monetize your blog like Adam

Adam earned more than $280,000 from affiliate commissions, online courses, and affiliate commissions in June 2021, according to his income report.

If you had 10% of that money, what could you accomplish?

How would your life change if that happened to you? In this course, Adam promises to help you replicate his success in turning a blog into an asset that generates passive income streams using affiliate marketing.

3. How to grow your blog like a CEO

It is common for bloggers to think of their website as a hobby, a diary, or a byproduct, which are all disastrous approaches.

Blogging is one of the few personal businesses that yield as much profit, and Adam has figured out how to make your blog highly profitable. Adam said his course will enable you to skip the learning phase and get right into “business” blogging.

Who is Adam Enfroy?

Adam’s life used to be pretty boring. He grew up in a regular neighborhood, went to college, and then spent years delivering pizza for just nine bucks an hour. He felt pretty lonely during that time and knew he needed a change.

Adam Enfroy

So, he decided to learn more about digital marketing and ended up killing it as a marketer, making way more money than he ever thought possible. But even with all that cash and responsibility, he still felt trapped. That’s when he realized starting his own biz was the way to break free from the 9-to-5 grind.

In 2019, he started a blog using all the marketing skills he picked up from working with startups.

But he quickly learned that if he wanted his blog to really succeed, he needed to think like a CEO, not just a blogger.

So, he taught himself affiliate marketing, hired writers, and built out his link network. Eventually, he was able to quit his day job.

Now, he’s been featured in magazines like Forbes and Entrepreneur.com and his blog brings in over $90,000 a month. He’s even created a course to teach others how to do the same.

Who Is Blog Growth Engine for?

Blog Growth Engine is suitable for both newbies in blogging and seasoned pros looking to take their blogs to the next level.

In this course, you’ll find all the step-by-step instructions you need to start and grow a successful blog.

However, this course isn’t for those looking to start a blog as a side project and generate income on autopilot.

Blogging takes effort and patience to see results, so you’ll need to be willing to put in the work and stick with it to see your efforts pay off.

How does Blog Growth Engine help you make money?

So, you’re looking to start a blog that gets tons of traffic and makes some money on the side?

Blog Growth Engine is all about helping you build and grow a successful blog that generates traffic from search engines like Google.

One of the main ways you’ll make money with your blog is through affiliate marketing. This is when you promote other people’s or companies’ products and earn a commission from each sale made through your special affiliate links. It’s a pretty sweet gig – you get to share products you love and make money at the same time.

Now, Blog Growth Engine does cover other ways to monetize your blog, like display ads. These are those ads you see on websites that can bring in some serious cash for publishers. But affiliate marketing is the main focus of the course.

So what sets Blog Growth Engine apart from other blogging and affiliate marketing programs? Well, the creator Adam stresses the importance of treating your blog like a startup, not just a hobby. And he encourages you to build your blog around your own personal brand.

This way, you’re not just creating content for the sake of it, but you’re building something that represents you and your unique voice.

Overall, Blog Growth Engine is a comprehensive program that teaches you how to create a successful, profitable blog. So, if you’re looking to make some money from your passion for blogging, this program might be worth checking out.

Blog Growth Engine Pricing & Discount

Blog Growth Engine is usually priced at $3,600 for one payment.

Some bloggers who are affiliates of the BGE program claim that if you buy through their links, the price will be $1,497. That’s a 58% discount.

In fact, if you want to get the discount, just send an email to their support.

There are no recurring costs for the training itself; you get lifetime access once you sign up.

There are some payment plan options, like

  • 2 monthly payments of $699 = $1398 total
  • 3 monthly payments of $499 = $1497 total

Just a heads up though, you’ll need to spend a bit more money to really follow the training properly. Like, you should budget around $132 to start and $25/month after that.

And, if you’re already a professional blogger making money online, you might recoup your investment even faster – maybe even within the first few months.

But, just remember, if you’re new to the game, you’ll need to put in some serious effort to see results from Blog Growth Engine.

Refund Policy

There is a 14-day refund period for Blog Growth Engine. To get a refund, you must meet all the following requirements:

  • Complete the entire program
  • Join the Facebook community
  • Have a 1:1 call with a Blog Growth Engine coach

After that, you can send your refund requests to [email protected]

It would be nice to see at least a 30-day refund policy for a course like this.

Additional Cost of Starting A Blog

Along with the Blog Growth Engine purchase, what other expenses should you expect?

As we don’t want to shock you with unexpected fees, we’ve tried to be objective in our analysis of the Blog Growth Engine.

As with any business, there are costs involved in maintaining a blog (though they’re small).

Just the essentials:

  1. Hosting: $2.99/month – $250+ per year. To publish a WordPress site online, you will need hosting dedicated just to the site.
  2. WordPress theme: free – $90. WordPress themes can be either free or premium. Adam suggests using the Kadence theme for WordPress, which is wonderful because it is available for free.
  3. Domain: $10 – $40 per year. The price ranges from very cheap to extremely expensive depending on which domain name you choose (for premium domains). Adam suggests setting up a blog under your own name, which can be had for about $15.

Adam also mentions a number of aids that he finds useful in the course. Although they aren’t absolutely necessary, they can’t hurt:

  1. Ahrefs: You can expect to pay between $99 and $100 per month for this service. When it comes to keyword research tools, Ahrefs is the gold standard.
  2. Jasper.ai: $29 monthly to start for 20,000 words/month. The monthly fee for using this tool increases proportionally to the number of words you need. You can try Jasper, an excellent AI tool for bloggers, for free and get access to 10,000 words of content.
  3. SurferSEO: $49 – $199. When it comes to search engine optimization (SEO), SurferSEO is an invaluable tool. It speeds up the process of conducting extensive research on competitors on search engine results pages (SERPs) and creating SEO-friendly content.
  4. Hunter.io (a reach scaling tool), Clearscope (an alternative to SurferSEO), and Grammarly Pro are all optional but can prove useful (Grammarly helps you write better for people).

Quite possibly, you could save most of these expenses by enrolling in another training program that provides you with blogging tools and hosting services.

At the end of this article, I’ll talk more about that alternative to BGE.

What’s Included In Blog Growth Engine?

Niche selection, link building, affiliate marketing, and other related topics are just a few of the many covered in the 11 modules of the course.

You can also ask questions and get answers from other members in a private Facebook group.

Adam and Colin usually respond with Weave, which provides an individual video response.

You can learn more than just the answers to your questions by seeing their approach to business and marketing.

Let’s take a look at the features of this behemoth of a blog editor.

Phase 1: Your Niche

In the introductory lesson, Adam lays out why it’s important to build a personal brand in a time when specialized websites are dying out.

He goes into detail about your area of expertise and how you can leverage it.

Phase 2: Your Mindset

In this lesson, you will learn to overcome feelings of inadequacy and learn why anyone can be successful at producing content.

Adam emphasizes the importance of having a positive money mindset from the start.

The key to success in blogging is reliability, developing credibility, and creating a unique identity.

That’s exactly what you’ll learn in this part.

Phase 3: Blogging Like A Startup

Adam distinguishes between blogging for fun and blogging for profit in this part of the course.

From the beginning, you’ll know how to organize and grow your blog like a new business.

When you are ready to expand, you can finally do away with the methods of the past.

This part of the course is crucial because it will be the cornerstone of your blogging business.

Phase 4: Decoding Search Intent

In this lesson, you’ll learn the importance of finding keywords with purchase intent and how search intent plays a role in online profitability.

Phase 5: Minimum Viable Website

In this lesson, you’ll learn how to optimize your WordPress website and prepare it for blog expansion.

The best hosting, theme, and plugins for your business will also be covered.

It’s important to know this before you invest time and effort into creating a website that’s of no use to you.

You should focus on the aesthetics of the website after it starts generating revenue.

Phase 6: Keyword Monetization

Finding keywords with monetary value is a major focus of the blog growth engine course.

To optimize your blog posts for search engines, you will learn the basics of keyword research and the inner workings of search engines.

You may think of keyword research as just one facet of your overall keyword monetization matrix, but believe me, that is far from the case.

Phase 7: Blog Content Creation

This lesson will teach you how to increase search engine rankings without sacrificing readability. Surfer SEO and Jasper.ai instructions are included.

Adam will teach you how to differentiate filler content from core content, and how to build a reliable content production pipeline.

As a blog owner, you also can count on freelance writers or agencies to produce fresh content around the clock. However, that would be very costly.

You’ll also get a simple blog format to follow and learn how to generate an endless supply of blog post ideas.

Phase 8: Link Building

This lesson teaches you how to increase your blog’s domain authority and collaborate with other bloggers.

Here you’ll learn how to target the best sites, how to contact them, and how to write a great guest post.

Phase 9: Affiliate Marketing And Blog Monetization Methods

In this lesson, you’ll learn the basics of affiliate marketing and develop a strategy to make money from your blog.

The latest version of Adam Enfroy’s course is not only about discovering affiliate networks, but also how to monetize your content in different ways, for example:

  • CPA Deals
  • Ad Networks
  • Brand Partnerships
  • YouTube

Phase 10: Scaling And Outsourcing

The purpose of this lesson is to teach you how to hire and retain competent workers and contractors.

During this lesson, you will learn when to expand your blog and where to find talented writers who can contribute to a larger audience.

Other topics include: how to find and hire top talent, the best tools for project management, and the types of work that can be outsourced.

This lesson plan is ideal for students who want to focus on other social media platforms like YouTube or on developing their own distinctive brand.

Phase 11: Monetizing Your Skills With Services

With this lesson, you’ll learn how to sell content marketing packages on your blog.

Colin and Jessica worked together to develop the entire lesson, describing how Jessica made money by referring quality links.

So in Step Eleven, you’ll gain the knowledge and skills to:

  • Make your website profitable by offering services before pursuing affiliate marketing or advertising.
  • What it takes to run a successful content writing agency
  • Guest blogging
  • Email marketing
  • Get paid to write for others, sell links, or combine the two
  • Draft proposals and invoices

Members of Blog Growth Engine’s new versions (2.0 and 3.0) have access to a private Link Exchange Slack group.

Using indirect link exchange and guest posting techniques, Adam teaches his students how to create a blog network using Link Exchange Engines.

Blog Growth Engine Bonuses

Although training is the main attraction, it is only one part of the Blog Growth Engine. There is also a mentoring and community program available to you…

Blog Growth Engine Community

The community aspect is centered around a Facebook group, but let’s be real, who wants to spend too much time on Facebook?

But it’s a good way to connect with other users and get answers to your questions, usually in the form of a Loom video.

Plus, there are Q&A sessions happening all the time.

One-on-One Coaching Calls (Unlimited)

This is a big deal because not many academic programs offer this and I haven’t come across any coaching services that offer unlimited sessions.

Keep in mind though, since new users are joining all the time, it might take a bit to schedule a meeting.

But don’t worry, the BGE Coaching link is at the end of each video and will take you to a calendar where you can pick a time slot that works for you.

Live Q&A with Recordings

There are live Q&A calls moderated by Eddy Ballesteros, a successful blogger, and original BetaGeeks member.

He’s helpful and has the experience to help you overcome any obstacles and grow your blogging business.

And if you miss a call, recordings of past Q&As can be found in the “Media” section of the Facebook group under “Videos”.

Green Lights

1. Adam seems to be the real deal

Adam’s course, Blog Growth Engine, is the real deal. You won’t waste your time with empty promises or meaningless information.

Instead, you’ll learn the strategies Adam used to take his blog from zero to half a million monthly visitors and 90k in monthly revenue.

2. Extremely detailed

It covers all possible aspects of blogging, which can be a plus or minus depending on your priorities. If you want to learn from a pro and get a complete “brain download” from the man himself, this is the place to be.

3. Amazing content

The content is amazing too. Both the training and beta program were super informative for me. Adam clearly cares a lot about the cause and the production quality is top-notch.

4. Something for everyone

No matter if you’re a complete newbie or an experienced affiliate, Adam can still teach you some valuable blogging lessons.

5. Great bonuses

The bonuses are fantastic – from a top-notch blogging application to video lessons, and a lively Facebook group full of bloggers at various stages of their careers.

Red Flags

1. Suspicious income statement

The latest Adam Enfroy income report shows that his blog generated $281,776 in revenue and $251,328 in profit (89% profit margin), mainly through affiliate commissions and course sales.

Using data from Ubbersuggest, Adam’s monthly visits in June 2022 were around 500,000, and the number only continued to rise throughout the following months. This means Adam Enfroy’s net profit is more than $3 million a year!

That’s insane! So, you might be thinking, “Wow, he must be a millionaire by now!” But hold up, it’s not that simple.

You see, when you run a blog or any kind of business, you’ve got to factor in all the expenses. Adam’s got a team of writers, a video editor, a web designer, and more that he’s paying for.

He’s also got software costs, insurance, equipment, and accountants to worry about. When you add all that up, it starts to eat into that $251,328 profit.

And even if you factor in all those expenses, Adam’s still got an 89% profit margin.

According to the stats from Corporate Finance Institute, a good margin will vary considerably by industry, but as a general rule of thumb, a 10% net profit margin is considered average, and a 20% margin is considered high.

So, with his $281,776 monthly revenue, his net profit should all between $28,000 and $56,000.

Overall, Adam Enfroy makes good money from his blog, but it’s very likely not as much as he claims.

2. Overpriced

Adam Enfroy’s course is much more expensive than other affiliate marketing courses. Can it guarantee a higher return? No, not necessarily.

When you’re just getting started, it’s best not to invest thousands of dollars in courses. Adam’s teachings can be found in similar programs. Why waste your money? Save it for other business expenses, such as software or content creation.

This is a luxury item that cannot be purchased by someone on a tight budget. However, I also see a possible advantage in this. What goes up must also go down.

3. Lack of success stories and testimonials

There are no success stories or testimonials on third-party review sites except for a 1-star review on Trustpilot.

There should be many testimonials and positive reviews if Adam’s blueprint really works and can help students get results in a few months. Unless his course isn’t very popular or useful.

Even though it takes time for students to write blog posts and attract visitors, if his program is really good, some students would praise the content and customer service.

4. The course includes black hat SEO techniques

BGE 2.0 and 3.0 members will have access to a special slack group where Adam will teach them all about exchanging backlinks.

But before you get too excited, it’s important to know that link exchanges aren’t exactly Google’s favorite thing.

In fact, they go against Google’s Webmaster Guidelines

Basically, if you’re caught doing a link exchange, you could get hit with a manual penalty from Google.

But, most likely, if you’re just casually exchanging links, it probably won’t be worth your time unless you’re seeing direct traffic from it.

Is Blog Growth Engine a scam or legit?

Blog Growth Engine is not a scam. It is a legit program.

As a top blogger, Adam Enfroy is now widely recognized. He has been featured in Forbes, Entrepreneur, and The Huffington Post.

Blog Growth Engine has about 1,500 active members. Others are currently enrolled in the course and some have already completed it.

However, as I said earlier, Adam might have exaggerated his monthly income and it’s hard to know whether his students are getting results.

Should you join Blog Growth Engine?

Blog Growth Engine can provide you with the knowledge you need for blogging.

Furthermore, the course’s community and Q&A sessions provide a wealth of additional information.

BGE, however, is prohibitively expensive for some.

Besides, I can’t find any genuine reviews on the program so it’s hard to know if anyone’s getting results using Adam’s blogging techniques.

Perhaps you should wait until there are more testimonials since the course is really expensive.

For the moment, I have a better and cheaper recommendation for you in regard to starting a blog.

Let me tell you in the next section.

Is There a Better Alternative?

Since Blog Growth Engine is very expensive, you would need to invest a large sum of money before getting started with blogging.

That said, Aidan does have a point that affiliate marketing can be a great way for beginners to earn money online.

So, here’s the thing, if you’re looking for a more affordable and reliable option, check out Wealthy Affiliate. They offer a training platform for affiliate marketing that won’t break the bank and offers you free tools and support.
