Sure, starting an online business with dropshipping is relatively simple. You don’t need to invest in inventory or worry about shipping and handling. But just because it’s easy to start doesn’t mean it’s easy to succeed. With more and more people getting into the game, the competition is fierce. Google Trends data shows that searches for “dropshipping” have tripled in the past five years, proving just how popular it’s become.

One downside to the growing popularity of dropshipping is that it’s harder for new merchants to find their niche. Nearly every segment and product line is already being sold by someone else. 

This means that new merchants have to put in extra effort to stand out. They’ll need to do some serious brainstorming and market research to find a unique angle.

In a nutshell, while dropshipping may seem easy on the surface, it’s important to keep in mind that competition is high, and standing out can be difficult. But with the right approach and a little bit of hard work, you can still make it a successful dropshipper.

2. Paid ads are very expensive

This means that as a beginner dropshipper, it might be harder for you to get started, and even if you’ve been dropshipping for a while, you might have to rethink your strategy.

3. Hard to maintain product quality

Dropshipping can be a bit tricky when it comes to making sure the products you’re selling match up with their descriptions. 

You can’t inspect the products before they’re shipped to buyers. This means if there are any issues with the products – like if they’re expired – it’s your brand that’ll take the hit. Even the most experienced vendors make mistakes, so it’s important to be prepared for this possibility.

With dropshipping, it’s hard to customize or enhance the products you’re selling. Since suppliers create and manufacture the items, you can’t make any changes to them.

4. Apple’s iOS 14 update limits advertising efforts

This update aims to get rid of a lot of the sneaky tracking Facebook was doing on users. Before, they were able to keep tabs on what we were doing online even after we left their site. 

They used that info to build up personal profiles for each of us, including our interests, habits, and even what we want. And let’s be real, they made a ton of money selling super-specific ads based on that data. 

But now, we’re starting to see some issues with ads not performing well. Not surprising though, since without all that tracking data, they can’t target as many users as effectively.

There is no doubt that eCom Success Academy is one of the most expensive courses on the market in this niche.

You have to pay $2,495 once to work with Adrian Morrison.

This is a little disappointing. It seems that Adrian has no confidence in his course and is afraid of chargebacks.

Adrian is a total eCommerce pro. He’s got loads of experience with Shopify, Facebook ads, and email marketing.

If you’re thinking about starting an online business, having a mentor like Adrian could really give your chances a boost. 

But, let’s be real, it’s tough to know for sure if Adrian is really raking in the big bucks from eCommerce.

2. Training provided in a step-by-step format

eCom Success Academy is a comprehensive eCom training course. It covers every aspect of dropshipping. 

The course is well-structured and easy to follow.

3. Regular updates

The course has been kept up to date since it first came out. That’s awesome. With how fast things are changing in the digital world, it’s important to stay on top of things when it comes to marketing.

Criticism of eCom Success Academy

1. Overpriced

eCom Success Academy is definitely on the pricey side compared to other dropshipping courses out there. I mean, $2.5K is a pretty big chunk of change, and let’s be real, it’s not like you’re getting one-on-one training or anything.

It’s just a bunch of recorded videos. I get that they probably put a lot of work into the course, but honestly, the price seems a little steep. I’ve checked out other courses before and this one is definitely one of the most expensive ones I’ve seen. 

If the price was a little lower, it might be more reasonable. But as it stands, it might be a hard sell for some people.

2. No refund

It’s a bummer that eCom Success Academy doesn’t offer any guarantees. I mean, it would be awesome if they had a 30-day refund policy. 

Especially since the course is pretty pricey at $2.5k. It would be nice if Adrian let people test it out before committing to the full investment.

3. Lots of biased reviews from their affiliates

I’m sure you’ve seen a few other reviews of eCom Success Academy and they all speak highly of it.

All of them are paid to write, so if you purchase eCom Success Academy through their links, they will receive a commission. Therefore, their words are often biased and unreliable.

If you make a purchase, they will receive a huge commission. So there is obviously a conflict of interest there. I would say it is not a “review”, but a sale pitch. So you should not trust their words.

When looking for a course review, you should always go for someone who is a non-affiliate.

Trustpilot is a trustworthy site to look for customer reviews. But when I tried to search for eCom Success Academy on Trustpilot, there is no result at all:

4. Only focus on paid traffic methods

eCom Success Academy only focuses on paid ads for getting traffic to your website. But, as a marketer who’s pretty into online marketing, I gotta say, diversifying your traffic sources is key to staying successful in the long run. 

Ya know, Facebook can change up the rules whenever they want and boom – you’re out of the game. 

So, it’s always good to have a few other ways to drive people to your site, like SEO, blogging, and other methods. Just something to keep in mind.

eCom Success Academy is not a scam. It is a legit dropshipping course.

I’ve taken a look at the eCom Success Academy course and overall, it looks like it has some valuable information for those wanting to start an eCommerce biz. 

The course covers a lot of different topics and it seems like Aidan provides a step-by-step curriculum to help you build a Shopify store. Plus, there are some bonuses that add to the value.

But, here’s the thing: it’s pretty pricey. I can see why some folks might think it’s a scam because of that. 

And, just a heads up, dropshipping isn’t a get-rich-quick scheme. It takes a lot of patience and determination. 

Plus, it can be pretty expensive to get started, so if you don’t have a lot of capital, this might not be the best fit for you. 

All in all, it’s got some good info, but just be prepared for the cost and the effort it takes to make it work.
