Are you looking for an Alison Prince review? If you want to make money online, you might have heard of Alison Prince. But you may wonder if it is a scam.
I have a passion to help people explore money-making opportunities online. Over the years, I have reviewed many programs like Alison Prince’s 0-100K System.
In the past week, I have done thorough research about Alison Prince and her course, so I can tell you more about it.
As a disclaimer, I’m not affiliated with Alison Prince. It means I’m not paid to write this review. So you can be sure that my words are unbiased.
At the end of this review, I’ll also tell you a better alternative that has enabled me to make a full-time passive income online.
In this Alison Prince and her course review, I’m going to cover the following.
Who Is Alison Prince?
Alison Prince is the creator of the course 0-100K System. She claims to have more than a decade of experience in eCommerce.
The eCommerce world has many young gurus who are just about 20 years old. They like showing off luxuries like cars, watches, and even private jet. But most of them don’t actually make a lot of money from eCommerce, but selling courses.
It seems that Alison Prince is different. She is more mature and seems to know a lot about eCommerce. She also claims to have built multiple 7 figure eCommerce stores.
Alison Prince has a YouTube channel that has around 23K subscribers. She uploads new YouYube videos quite often, so it shows that she is very dedicated to her online course business.
It’s quite interesting to see that most of Alison Prince’s students are women. It’s like a girls school or community. You can see her sales pages which target mostly women. So if you want to enrol in her course, please be noted that it is a woman-focused community.
Anyway, should you join her 0-100K System to learn how to make money with eCommerce? Let’s take a look at her course content first.
0-100K System Overview
0-100K System is a course that teaches you how to do eCommerce. The course is supposed to be finished within 6 weeks.
Let’s take a look at the content of each week:
Week 1 is largely an introduction to eCommerce. Here you learn the basics such as:
- Common terms you’ll hear in eCommerce
- You’ll find all the legal information you need to set up your business properly.
- How to manage product inventory
In the second week, you learn what you have to do to make money. During this time, you’ll be taught:
- Making a professional-looking store
- Motivation and mindset training
- How to find trending products
- Adding products to your store
- What to consider when calculating your profit margins
- Price your products correctly.
Week 3 covers the following:
- Making your product look good when listing
- On which platforms you should sell your products
- How to choose the right shopping cart
Additionally, you will get access to Alison’s Little Black Book of Manufacturers during this week.
Week 4 focuses on growing your business.
The following topics are covered in this week:
- The best way to manage your shipping
- Building and using an email list
- How to send emails that customers will want to open
- Optimizing your sales channel to make as many sales as possible
Conversions and traffic are the focus of Week 5.
The following will be covered in this week’s lesson:
- How to drive customers to your online store
- Using Clickfunnels
- Social media platforms that work best
Aside from that, you’ll learn how to use the Chinese and US Little Black Book Of Manufacturers and you’ll see Alison’s Golden Book Of Influencers.
You can get access to the bonus section in Week 6 instead of getting step by step training like you have been receiving.
This section of the course consists mainly of training from industry experts covering various aspects of eCommerce.
0-100K System Pricing
0-100K System is not a cheap eCommerce course. It costs $997 to join, which is a bit overpriced. There are better and cheaper alternatives on the market if you want to learn eCommerce.
Moreover, I don’t think the course is worth $997 because the training material is not very comprehensive. It lacks a lot of traffic training that is essential for success in eCommerce.
As for the refund policy, it has a 14-day money-back guarantee. It claims to be no-questions-asked, but I’m not sure if she will honour the promise. So be careful before making payment.
0-100K System Pros And Cons
- You can learn the basics of eCommerce from Alison Prince
- Alison Prince seems to know the stuff and did have some success in eCommerce.
- There is a 14-day money-back guarantee.
- The course is too expensive indeed. $997 is too much given that the course quality is the best on the market.
- A lot of the information taught in the course can be found online for free
- The course doesn’t teach you some special tricks to succeed
- The traffic training is enough, which means you might have difficulty driving traffic to your online store and make sales.
- eCommerce is not the easiest business model for newbies
- No verified success stories of students
Is Alison Prince a Scam?
I cannot say Alison Prince is a scam. There is evidence to say so. In fact, Alison Prince does know the stuff in eCommerce and you can learn the basics from her.
The problem is whether you can really make money after enrolling in Alison Prince’s 0-100K System.
In my opinion, the training in Alison Prince’s course is just mediocre, meaning there are no special or unique strategies covered. There is no guarantee that you will make the money back.
Also, I reckon Alison Prince makes most of her money from selling her online courses instead of eCommerce. Because you can see that she devotes most of her time to promoting her online course instead of her eCommerce store.
Moreover, Alison Prince doesn’t tell you the difficulties of eCommerce because she is trying to sell you her 0-100K System eCommerce course.
If you are new to online business, you have to understand why eCommerce is more difficult than you thought.
Is eCommerce Still a Viable Option in 2021?
I did eCommerce before, so what I can tell you is that eCommerce has become increasingly difficult. If you want to build a 6 figure eCommerce business, you need to shed some blood, sweat and tears to figure out how it works.
Here are a few points why I would not recommend eCommerce:
1. Financial Risk
Your eCommerce store won’t sell ANYTHING if you don’t ADVERTISE. But Facebook ads costs are skyrocketing and will eat away your PROFITS. You might need weeks or even months to just break even, before seeing any profit.
In another word, you have to take a huge FINANCIAL RISK in eCommerce.
2. Facebook ads are Pricey and Difficult
After observing most eCommerce stores’ results, at best, the total Facebook ad cost will account for at least 30% of your total sales.
But Facebook ads seldom stay effective for too long. Once your ad has exhausted the audience, it becomes ineffective. Your total revenue will be much lower and even result in net loss.
According to Forbes, Facebook saw an increase in Ad costs of 90% year-on-year.
Worse still, the learning curve of Facebook ads is quite steep because Facebook changes its algorithm all the time. You have to invest a lot of time and money in learning and testing Facebook Ads.
If you run Facebook ads without any experience, your ad account will be banned for violating their strict policies.
3. Customer Support
In eCommerce, you have to spend a lot of time communicating with suppliers and dealing with customer service.
If your customer has any issues with the product, you have to wait for your supplier to help you. If your supplier is not helpful, you have to bear the loss yourself. Therefore, many eCommerce stores have poor customer review and have no returning customers.
In the worst case, you would expect a lot of credit card chargebacks, which risk getting your payment gateway shut down.
4. A lot of work on product research
For your store to keep making money, you always have to find a product that has the momentum to go viral in order that the ads costs can be covered.
In eCommerce, most products reach their peak in 1-2 months or even weeks. This is because many competitors will steal your product and create a better ad. Or increase their budgets on Facebook ads to outbid you.
Therefore, you need to keep finding new replacements to keep generating cash flow.
You might see people post revenues online but they don’t tell you the net revenue.
Some of them might be making money but it’s not sustainable.
The eCommerce business model is not as passive as you think. Most people who succeed in eCommerce are doing it full time because it requires you to keep finding new products, creating new stores, testing new ads and looking for new suppliers to make your income stable.
Is There an Easier & Better Alternative to Make Money Online?
If you don’t want to waste your time or risk your hard-earned money, you might wonder if there is a better business model that doesn’t need Facebook ads and can do it as a side-hustle.
Yes, I would suggest you get started with affiliate marketing. It is far easier and less time consuming as you don’t even need to handle customer service.
In affiliate marketing, you can run your business almost with zero cost. Most importantly, you don’t need to invest in creating and developing any products.
But How Much Can You Earn in Affiliate Marketing?
A 21-year old student from my #1 recommended training platform of affiliate marketing was able to earn $7,395 in just 1 week, which means he made more than $1k a day…all while using free traffic methods and affiliate marketing.
