Are you looking for a BookTrades.Biz Review? If you want to make money online, you might have heard of Jon Shugart and Luke Sample. But you may wonder if they are a scam.

It’s my passion to help people learn about online money-making opportunities. Over the years, I’ve reviewed a number of programs and software.

In the past week, I have thoroughly researched Jon Shugart & Luke Sample’s BookTrades.Biz course so I can tell you more about it.

As a disclaimer, I’m not affiliated with Jon Shugart and Luke Sample. It means I’m not paid to write this review. So you can be sure that my words are unbiased.

At the end of this review, I’ll also tell you a better alternative that has enabled me to make a full-time passive income online.

In this BookTrades.Biz review, I’m going to cover the following:

Who is Jon Shugart?

Jonathan Shugart is the creator of Book Trades, and it isn’t his first book-selling program. He also owns an agency called Book Profits.

He has a degree in both mathematics and computer science. Jon has an impressive history, and he is very successful.

In 2008, he started creating software after building companies worth millions of dollars. His primary focus has been reselling books through Amazon since 2016.

Who is Luke Sample

Book Profits was also created by Luke Sample. He worked with Jon on Book Trades. There is less information about Luke than about Jon.

A short biography reveals that he has made millions online and has appeared on Forbes as a 23-year-old.

BookTrades.Biz Overview

BookTrades.Biz specializes in selling books on Amazon. There are some people who do really well with this business model, but it’s quite challenging at times.

There’s a lot of costs associated with using Amazon to fulfil orders (using their warehouses to ship).

This is what you get when you join Book Trades:

Step By Step Training

As part of Book Trades, you are provided with training to resell books.

Live Help Sessions

There are two live group coaching sessions each week. A question can be asked there, and an answer will be provided.

Email Support Desk

The live coaching sessions will not be the only time you can ask a question. Questions can be quickly answered through emails as well.

Annual Live Events

Every year, Books Trades hosts a live event where creators invite everyone to share their expertise.

Book Trades Software

The software has a trial period of 30 days for free, then a monthly fee of $297.

Using this software, you can find the prices of books, and there are more than 10 million book titles listed.

BookTrades.Biz Pricing

BookTrades.Biz is priced at $3500 + $297 per month.

For me, $297 is too much. I can understand why the software is priced that way. It is a nice piece of software, but it is quite expensive.

Unfortunately, I cannot see the point of paying $3500 just to join. I don’t think that’s a good deal and you’re not getting your money’s worth.

There was no information about a refund policy. According to the terms, refunds are not guaranteed “for lack of use or dissatisfaction with the Service.”

There doesn’t seem to be any way to file for a refund if you’re not happy with it.

BookTrades.Biz Pros And Cons

The Pros

  • A good software package comes with the software that helps you find and sell books.
  • BookTrades.Biz was created by two successful businessmen with a lot of experience in the industry.

The Cons

  • I can understand the cost of the software being $297 per month (that’s still high) but I cannot understand why it’s $3500 to join. To me, that makes no sense.
  • Amazon may be a great business model for some, but it offers very tight margins. The profit per sale will be pennies.
  • We cannot offer refunds for training or software that you’re not satisfied with. Refunds are not issued for dissatisfaction, as the terms explicitly state.

Are Jon Shugart and Luke Sample a Scam?

No, they are not a scam.

This isn’t the first time that these two creators have resold books, as they have been in the reselling business for years.

Additionally, they have a fairly proven track record.

Books Trades uses a real business model and delivers legitimate training/software.

Although Amazon is one of the most popular ways to sell books, selling books on Amazon is a challenging business and this program is expensive.

There is a better business model that is more sustainable and has higher earning potential.

This alternative business model has enabled me to make a full-time passive income. I’m making money while I’m sleeping.

Let me tell you more about this better alternative in detail in the next section.

A 21-year old student from Wealthy Affiliate was able to earn $7,395 in just 1 week, which means he made more than $1k a day…all while using free traffic methods.
