Advertising on Facebook is a popular way to market your dropshipping store, but it is not cheap. In fact, the total Facebook ad cost will account for at least 30% of your total sales. Facebook ads also have a short lifespan, and once your ad has exhausted its audience, it becomes ineffective. This can result in a lower revenue and even a net loss. 

Moreover, Facebook changes its algorithm all the time, making it hard to keep up with the latest trends. If you run Facebook ads without any experience, your ad account can be banned for violating their strict policies.

Customer Support

In dropshipping, you have to spend a lot of time communicating with suppliers and dealing with customer service. If your customer has any issues with the product, you have to wait for your supplier to help you. If your supplier is not helpful, you have to bear the loss yourself. This can lead to poor customer reviews and no returning customers. 

Additionally, credit card chargebacks can be a major issue, risking the shutdown of your payment gateway.

A Lot of Work on Product Research

Therefore, you need to keep finding new replacements to keep generating cash flow. This requires a lot of work on product research, creating new stores, testing new ads, and looking for new suppliers.

In conclusion, dropshipping is not as passive as you might think. It requires a lot of work and a full-time commitment to succeed. While there are success stories in dropshipping, it is not a viable option for everyone.
