The dude is so passionate about sharing his knowledge that he even created a one-on-one coaching program and an online course called FBA Freedom Hackers Academy. That’s pretty impressive, right?

But, wait, there’s more. In 2019, Steven joined forces with a group of Amazon Automation specialists to offer Done-For-You Amazon Services. Unfortunately, some of their customers weren’t happy because their Amazon accounts got suspended. Apparently, dropshipping is a big no-no in Amazon’s terms of service, so it’s not a good sign if you’re thinking of working with him.

However, I should mention that Steven’s no longer into dropshipping. Instead, he’s doing something called Amazon FBA Wholesale. That means you gotta buy a bunch of inventory from a supplier and then ship it off to Amazon’s fulfillment center. It’s not as easy-peasy as dropshipping, but at least it’s allowed on Amazon.

Here’s the thing, though. Steven used to be pretty active on YouTube, but his channel’s not available anymore. That’s a major red flag in my book. So, before you go handing over your hard-earned cash, make sure you do your due diligence and really look into this guy.

There are no prices listed on their website. However, you should assume that the price will be very high. All services provided to you are expensive and most are not worth it.

I always advise against using such a service, because in the business world you cannot delegate the work to a third party who has no interest in your business. They are only interested in collecting a fixed amount from you every month.

I think you need at least $25-40,000 to start with if you want to hire Valiant Consultants.

Valiant Consultants Red Flags

If you’re thinking about signing up for Valiant Consultants’ Done-For-You Amazon FBA Service, there are a few things you should be aware of before making your decision. Here are four red flags to consider:

1. Scam accusations on Reddit

Several people on Reddit have called Valiant Consultants’ program a scam. However, it’s worth noting that these individuals may not have firsthand experience with the program.

2. Lack of verified success stories

Valiant Consultants’ sales page includes only a few screenshots of success stories, without any concrete evidence to back them up. This lack of verified success stories may be a red flag for some potential customers.

3. The Amazon automation business model may be a scam

Valiant Consultants sells the Amazon automation business model, which requires a monthly fee regardless of whether your store makes a profit. Similar models have been called scams, and Kevin David, who ran a similar program, was sued by the FTC and required to pay a significant sum of money.

4. Class action lawsuit against Steven Mayer

In 2021, a class action lawsuit was filed against Steven Mayer, the owner of Valiant Consultants, by students who wanted their money back. Some individuals claimed to have used their children’s college fund, taken out high-interest loans, or even second mortgages on their homes, and ultimately suffered significant financial losses.

4 Reasons Why I Don’t Recommend Amazon Automation

Amazon automation has its share of drawbacks that sellers need to be aware of before they decide to automate their business. Here are some cons to consider:

1. Higher costs

One of the main drawbacks of Amazon automation is the cost associated with it. Hiring an agency or using software to do the work for you may cost you more than doing it manually. You need to pay for the software or agency services, which can add up over time.

2. Extra fees

Apart from the fulfillment and storage fees, there may be additional costs associated with returns processing and inventory storage. These fees can significantly impact your profit margins, so it’s essential to factor them in when deciding to automate your Amazon business.

3. Product arrangement and labeling

If you have a large inventory, arranging and labeling all your products to send to fulfillment centers can become an issue. It can be a time-consuming and challenging task, especially if you have thousands of products to manage.

4. Limited physical access to your products

When you use Amazon’s fulfillment centers, you have to send all your products to them, limiting your physical access to them. This can become a challenge if you need to make adjustments or repairs to your products before sending them to the customers.

Is Steven Mayer or Valiant Consultants a Scam?

I can not say that Steven Mayer or Valiant Consultants are a scam. At least I have no evidence to say that. The problem is though, can you really make money with their help?

I have read a lot of customer reviews about them. But most of them are negative.

On BBB, Valiant Consultants’ rating is very bad, only 2 stars out of 5. On Trustpilot, Valiant Consultants also has only a 2 star rating. There are many complaints about their service. Some people even claim to sue them for fraud.

It is not a good sign if all the ratings are negative. If there is a mix of positive and negative reviews, you can still assume that it is just an exceptional case. However, if all the reviews are negative, you should be cautious before making a payment to the provider. There is no guarantee that you will get the money back.

Therefore, I do not recommend hiring Steven Mayer or Valiant Consultants.

If you really want to build an online business from scratch and earn passive income, I have a better recommendation for you.
