Early Life

Anton Zaslavski was born on September 2, 1989, in Saratov Oblast, Russia, to Jewish parents. When he was four years old, his family relocated to Germany.

He grew up in Kaiserslautern alongside his two brothers, Arkadi and Daniel. Igor Zaslavski, his father, is a schoolteacher and guitarist, and Marina Vladimirovna, his mother, is a piano teacher.

When he was four years old, his mother taught him how to play the piano. By the age of 12, he had mastered classical music and the drums.

He began his career as a drummer for the metallic fusion band ‘Dioramic’ in 2002. The band had a deal with ‘Lifeforce Records.’ He was influenced by the French electronic duo ‘Justice,’ and he began to focus on the metallic heavy electronic genre.

Career

A custom Skittles machine installed at the end of a hallway was one of the more interesting additions Zedd made to the interior. He also built a soundproof movie theater and a recording studio.
