Upskilled Review – Scam or Legit?

Is Upskilled a scam? Should you join Upskilled’s courses?

Can you really make more money after joining Upskilled’s courses? Before investing your precious time and money, it’s a good practice to do some research.

To be transparent, I’m NOT an affiliate of Upskilled, meaning I’m not paid to write this review of Upskilled. So you can rest assured that my review is unbiased and honest.

I’m going to cover the following to help you make an informed decision about joining Upskilled. At the end of the article, I will also tell you the best alternative to increase your income level:

Upskilled Review

Upskilled was founded in 2009 by Joel Gage. It is a registered training organisation for Australians. They provide career-focused training online. There are over 300 courses available for enrolment.

At the time of writing, their rating is 3.8/5 on It is not bad because the average industry rating is just 4 stars. Same as other training organisations, you can find satisfied and dissatisfied students.

Online learning is not for everyone, as you have to be self-motivated to learn. If not, you should go for offline classrooms.

Currently, you can find courses of information technology, administration and business, and community services at Upskilled. If you want to develop your career in these fields, you may consider to register and get a certificate.

Is Upskilled a Scam?

Upskilled is not a scam. They do provide quality training materials for their courses. And if you want to get a job, having a certificate from Upskilled should help improve your resume.

However, Upskilled does not guarantee you a job after getting a certificate. Still, it relies on yourself to pass the interviews in order to get a job.

In fact, I wouldn’t recommend you to take Upskilled’s courses if you want to make more money. Getting a 9 to 5 job is no longer a smart way to make money nowadays. The salary rise is very slow and can barely meet the inflation rate.

Instead, you should take advantage of the opportunities created by the internet in recent decades. The world has changed a lot because of the internet.

Actually, you can build a digital asset, which can generate a stable stream of passive income for you. It’s a smart and secure way to have a financially-free life.

Warren Buffet said, “If you don’t find a way to make money while you sleep, you will work until you die.”

Therefore, I wouldn’t recommend you spending money and time with Upskilled just to get a job. Instead, you should start building a digital asset that can make you money while you sleep.

In the next section, I will introduce the easiest and most profitable online business model you can start today!

Is There A Better Alternative to Upskilled?

If you’re new to online business, you may think it’s difficult to start a business on your own. But actually that’s not true.

There’s a risk-free online business model that doesn’t need initial capital and can be done as a side-hustle. It is called “affiliate marketing”.

So you may wonder, “how much can you earn in affiliate marketing?”

Actually the earning potential of affiliate marketing is huge. There’re people who are doing it full-time and earn a 7-figure income a year.

This is a 21-year-old student from my #1 recommended training platform of affiliate marketing. He was able to earn $7395 in just a week. That means more than $1K a day. It’s nearly impossible for you to find a part-time job that can pay you $1K a day. But affiliate marketing can.

  1. To whom it may concern,
I lodged a formal complaint against Upskilled through ACCC and ASQA.
    As Upskilled failed;
    1. to provide the proper learning modules as there are plenty of mistakes and contradictions throughout the course material
    2. to provide clear and concise instructions to complete tasks
    3. to inform the prospective students that Upskilled requires third parties to complete the assessments to progress throughout the course, i.e. ROLEPLAYS
    4. to respond to student emails, which are promised to be replied to within a certain amount of business days by UPSKILLED instructors
    5. to fulfil the promise of a qualified education programme that the students work with capable instructors and team members
    6. to understand and respond to the student issues
