The same goes for its ability to guarantee a purchase.

This is included in the terms and conditions, but Tred had better communicate this to sellers.

Section 4.8 states, “you expressly agree that you will not use the Service to find an End Buyer and then complete a transaction independent of the Service, in order to circumvent the obligation to pay any fees related to the Service.”

I don’t know how to answer the people who complained that they couldn’t sell a car on the platform. As far as I know, there are no sites that can guarantee that, unfortunately.

Tred has refunded everyone who was charged a deactivation fee after they removed their listing because they couldn’t sell their car.

Some consumers have legitimate complaints, and I do not support Tred (nor am I affiliated with them). On the other hand, I do not know the details of these cases, and there are usually two sides to every story.

Of course, Tred has his weaknesses. Still, I believe that one’s perspective is essential.

Ford Motor Company, for example, has received over 900 complaints and has a current BBB rating of 1.15 out of 5. Tred’s current rating of 2.95 is about three times Ford’s, but I doubt many would argue that he is actually that much better.

It’s inevitable that the number of dissatisfied consumers will be greater than the number of satisfied consumers when it comes to rating a business online. However, that doesn’t mean that people’s legitimate complaints don’t deserve attention (I’ve had dissatisfied customers, too).
