According to Thomas Garetz, you can indeed make money on YouTube without showing your face or using your voice, a concept known as a cash cow channel or YouTube automation. Sure, you can outsource the video creation process, but it comes with a price tag of $50 to $100 per video. Standing in front of a camera and talking might just be the simpler route.

Unless you’re ready to invest thousands of dollars into video content, creating each video becomes a necessity.

Setting up a channel, curating or generating content, and grasping SEO and marketing strategies is time-intensive. It’s not as effortlessly “hands-off” as the course implies. Plus, it could take months before you see a substantial income from YouTube ad revenue, given the fierce competition.
