What Is Texting Factory?
Texting Factory is a hub for finding and posting chat hosts for sexy and casual texting jobs on adult websites. These are messages of a fictional nature, commonly referred to as “online flirting”
The average weekly salary for a chat operator is between $300 and $400, according to Texting Factory.
It’s a job with a lot of leeway, so you can put in the hours as it suits you best. Some people only work a few hours a week, while others are online all the time.
Recommendation: Here’s The Best Alternative
Is Texting Factory a Scam?
Texting Factory is not a scam. Although there are several warning signs and customer complaints, this product does not cheat users out of their money.
Nevertheless, I will not recommend it to you because I do not want you to have the same bad experience that other customers had on Trustpilot.
It is clear that many users fear that their personal data will be stolen and then lost forever.
Not only that, but after being paid for the first few weeks, some consumers found that they were not compensated.
In addition, several customers were dissatisfied with the website’s support, as they could not get answers to their questions.
For this reason, I cannot recommend their services.
Even though Texting Factory is not a scam in all respects, there are too many warning signs for me to recommend them to you.
There are better ways to make money on the Internet than this.
Texting Factory Red Flags
Red Flag 1 – Fake Testimonials
Unfortunately, I have noticed several of the false testimonials that I look for first when reviewing scams.
You may have seen the reviews of Steven, Sophia, and Isabella on the Texting Factory home page (textingfactory.com).
As you can see, Texting Factory is highly praised by everyone. They appreciate that they can work where they are.
Although, in reality, Steven, Sophia and Isabella do not exist. Many different websites use these stock photos.
Is this the real Texting Factory?
In general, I would reject because of these stock photos and fake endorsements.
But I am not sure if this proves that Texting Factory is a scam because…
First of all, Texting Factory chat operators mainly serve adult websites.
Most people who come across Texting Factory job ads do so through adult job forums like sexyjobs.com, although the company makes no reference to its association with such sites on its website.
Since it is an adult (anonymous) job, it is safe to assume that most chat operators on textingfactory.com would rather not reveal their true identity.
Social Sale Rep could be a good option (not as a recommendation, but as a non-adult alternative) if you’re looking for a chat support job.
For this reason, it’s a bit difficult for Texting Factory to collect reliable reviews.
The second reason could be that there aren’t enough satisfied customers to give positive feedback.
However, this doesn’t mean that they’re a scammer.
It just means that the employees aren’t exactly dancing with joy over this news. In the past, I’ve worked for many traditional companies that faced the same problem. Nevertheless, it wasn’t a scam.
A customer may choose not to give a positive review for a number of reasons.
Insufficient work is a problem shared by all home-based work platforms and websites. It’s cut-throat competition, so most people have multiple sources of income to make ends meet.
Websites like Survey Junkie and Inbox Dollars can’t replace your regular income, but they can help you out when business is slow at your other job. If you’ve never tried making money online before, these methods are a good place to start.
You might start taking your Internet project more seriously as you gain experience.
Perhaps you’re taking care of young children or have health problems that prevent you from working the usual 40 hours a week.
In this case, if you want to earn a living exclusively online, you need to have an idea of how to get started.
Red Flag 2 – Limited Contact Information
Who’re the owners of the company? The only means of interaction is an email address. As with other email-only scams, such as “Cash Monster” and “RainMoney,” this one rings a bell.
And they couldn’t have picked a more remote location if they wanted to avoid people checking their headquarters to see if they were real.
They’re stuck on a rock in the middle of the Pacific Ocean that’s about one-tenth the size of New Jersey. They’re as far away as possible from any kind of human habitation.
Red Flag 3 – ID Identification
They redirect you to a third-party verification portal called “evalid” to make sure you are who you say you are.
On evalid’s website, they do not just take a picture of you. You also have to take a selfie and pass a “vividness test” that requires you to hold an ID (such as your driver’s licence) up to the camera. Instructions like “touch your nose” and “speak a sentence” are common ways to establish your identity in real time in front of the camera.
Who are you actually revealing all this private information to?
To the invalid person or thing.
Although I was not able to find out much data about evalid, I was able to determine that it is not an “independent” identity verification service.
They are part of the Texting Factory network or directly operated by this company.
So the information you provide to evalid is not verified by a third party. Texting Factory is the one collecting it.
Outside of that context, I would advise you to get the hell out of there right now. In this case, however, there is a special circumstance that needs to be taken into account.
In order to use Texting Factory’s services, you will always have to prove that you are at least 18 years old, because Texting Factory only works with adult websites. It would be disastrous if they actually hired a group of teenagers to flirt with guys online. That would lead to phrases like “catastrophic jail time”
Even though I understand why they need it, I can not condone giving out so much personal information to a company we know so little about.
Red Flag 4 – Suspicious Looking Parent Company
Typically, the parent company of a company like Texting Factory, which has a subsidiary, is a large conglomerate with a number of subsidiaries and owners. Usually, these are public companies that are open to the public.
On the other hand, WebTech Interactive, Texting Factory’s parent company, is as enigmatic as they are.
Again, there is no contact information, and no details about the company can be found on the Internet.
They have absolutely no visitors, and their website consists of only one page. Also, there is no privacy policy or terms of use.
It is highly unusual for a real company to have no privacy policy.
Notice that in the screenshot above, there are no links to the WebTech homepage (their only page), which indicates that there are no links to other websites. None of the social media profiles, not even a blank one on Facebook, leads anywhere.
To put it mildly, it smells a bit fishy.
To clarify: Everything I am including here are warning signs. They are not entirely typical, and you should proceed with caution, but none of these red flags “confirm” that it’s a scam.
While not everyone who has worked for Texting Factory has been paid, some have.
Finally, yes, there really is such a thing as adult chat rooms. While some may have moral objections to the practice, it is a legitimate business supported by the money of its customers (who are mostly male). You need someone to manage the chat rooms.

Texting Factory Reviews
You can find out whether Texting Factory is a scam or not by reading some of the reviews others have left on the site. Online feedback on Texting Factory’s offerings is divided overall.
Based on 254 customer reviews, for example, the company has a TrustPilot rating of 1.9 (out of 5). Some of the most typical praises and criticisms are listed here.
From the reviews, it appears that after receiving payments from Texting Factory in the first few weeks, customers eventually stopped receiving payments.
Many users also had problems with the website’s help mechanism and reported that they did not receive any response.
In addition, some users have claimed that their accounts were deactivated after they submitted their identification and ticket information.
Since there are so many complaints about the service, you should exercise caution before providing personal information.
Most Common Positive Reviews
Most Common Negative Reviews
Although some nice reviews have been posted, I do not think they can make up for the many negative comments about this network.
Recommendation: Here’s The Best Alternative
How Does Texting Factory Work?
As a chat operator, your main job is to “flirt” with male customers online. This may go as far as saying “talk dirty to men”. However, your method is to text.
Nothing is ever done in person, over the phone, or on the Internet. The confidentiality of your identity is already guaranteed.
Not all of your conversations will be sexy. It’s possible they’ll be, but their conversations will likely be largely informal. A common topic of conversation is a person’s hometown, but also topics such as the local culture, climate, and general atmosphere. Another possibility is that the other person wants to talk about difficulties in their existing relationship.
However, Texting Factory has a very strict policy. You need to make sure that your messages are written exactly as they say they’re. The criteria for success include the length of the message, clear calls to action, and command of the English language, both written and spoken (which is mandatory).
For example, you could use asking if they would like to see more photos of you (not that you are in the photos) as a call to action. The longer you keep users interested, the higher the monthly subscription fee, and the more money you make.
Texting Factory Ethics
You may wonder if it’s morally acceptable to send someone fake news and photos by creating a false identity.
That’s a valid question, but I’m not sure I’ve the expertise to answer it. What I think is.
You can be pretty sure that your online chat partner isn’t who they say they’re. It’s possible that some people really believe that, but I’d wager that the vast majority are just living out a fantasy- and that’s fine with them.
Of course, there are unethical scenarios where there’s the possibility of harming a spouse or partner, but these things happen everywhere. They occur in the workplace, in social settings, in pubs, on fitness equipment, and in grocery shop aisles.
If you’ve made it this far, it’s likely that you already know Texting Factory’s target audience.
Whether it’s safe for you to do so is a more pressing question.
Is Texting Factory Safe?
In my opinion, revealing personal information to verify ID is the biggest risk of signing up with Texting Factory.
To reiterate: Your privacy from unwanted callers is guaranteed by the fact that your identity is uniquely yours. As long as you don’t reveal your account information in a message, it’ll remain private.
So is it okay to do so?
Opinions differ about the truthfulness of the activities carried out at Texting Factory.
Just like phone calls to adult-appropriate “1-900” numbers, which are permitted, sending sexually explicit text messages is permissible. However, the operation of such services is regulated by law in some countries. For example, it’s possible that there are restrictions on the amount of charges.
Ultimately, though, these messaging apps are completely legitimate.
The involvement of minors is a major problem with Texting Factory and other forms of pornographic content on the Internet. After that, it is completely against the law, so further security measures such as ID are necessary.
Is Texting Factory Legal?
Depending on where you live, Texting Factory’s actions may or may not be legal. Similar to legal “1-900” phone calls with an adult theme, explicit texting services are permissible.
However, the provision of such services may be restricted in a number of jurisdictions. Perhaps there are caps on the amount of charges.
However, the law allows them.
However, when children are involved, the issues with Texting Factory and other forms of online adult content become much more serious. Then the whole thing is against the law, so measures like reviewing ID are needed.

How To Join Texting Factory?
You must be at least 18 years old to work here. You must also be proficient in English and have access to a computer or laptop with a reliable internet connection.
To apply, click on the “Apply” button. You will then be directed to a page where you can provide your name, email address, and a brief statement under the heading “Your motivations for applying for this position.”
The following steps of the application process will be described in an email that you will receive after you have completed and submitted the application form.
Texting Factory will send you an email with a verification link to verify your email address.
When you click on the link, you will be redirected to a questionnaire page.
All questions must be answered, even if they are adult.
After that, a coach will contact you within the next 48 hours to schedule an interview.
There you will also have to complete two to three hours of training, which consists of reading and quizzes.
You will be asked a series of questions and given 45 minutes to an hour to complete a typing test.
However, this typing test is not only about typing speed and accuracy, but also about your writing style, grammatical knowledge and much more.
As with the first 50 messages, you have 24 hours to respond.
Your answer will be evaluated and if you score well, you will be hired immediately.
Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- To verify ID, you must provide information such as a driver’s license.
- A basic PC or laptop with a stable internet connection.
- Fluent English (you will be tested on your application)
Training, Assessments, and Interview
You should hear from a coach within the next two days to schedule an interview. The training will take two to three hours of your time and will consist of reading and quizzes.
You will also be required to take a typing test, which will take between 45 minutes and an hour and will consist of multiple-choice and open-ended questions. You will be tested on your ability to express yourself clearly and concisely in writing, as well as your understanding of grammar, syntax, and other conventions.
You will also be given 50 messages to answer within 24 hours. You will be hired based on the quality of your answers.

Texting Factory Payment
There are inconsistencies here.
Texting Factory’s job description states that employees can earn $10 (or $11 USD) per hour. However, one TrustPilot reviewer claims he worked 10 hours every day for 6 days and earned 300 Euros, which is 5 Euros per hour (or about 6 USD).
Rate Per Message
The expected cost per communication is another point of disagreement. Depending on who you ask, you can expect 7 to 12 cents.
The required minimum length of a message is 75 characters.
Minimum Threshold
Each week you must send at least 100 messages to reach the reward threshold.
Payment Method
Bitsafe, which handles payments, is another Texting Factory partner that may not be entirely trustworthy. I could find out almost nothing about Bitsafe.
According to one of their users, Bitsafe is apparently owned by the same people who own Texting Factory.
If I could use PayPal, I’d, but that option doesn’t seem to be available.
Many of these rules and practices are subject to change without notice, so they may have changed slightly after this review was written.
Perhaps the biggest challenge for you is that you don’t have enough work to go around.
Sites like Texting Factory are competitive because they cater to the growing trend of people looking for work from home jobs and don’t require any special education or training.
If you don’t get enough messages to keep you busy (or to meet your minimum level), you can diversify your income by taking surveys on sites like Survey Junkie and Inbox Dollars.
Even if the income is low, this is a great way to make money online when you’re just starting out.
Once you’re more established, you can think about expanding into the digital realm.
You could be at home taking care of the kids or recovering from an illness.
In that case, if you want to earn a living exclusively online, you’ll need an idea of how to get started.
Who Is Texting Factory For?
People with free time and interest in working as a chat operator can join Texting Factory.
If you agree with low pay per message, you can work when and where you want.
If you want to increase your income, you’ll have to work many hours.
Of course, the conversations aren’t completely harmless. You should be prepared for more explicit sexual messages.
You should also familiarise yourself with the possible disadvantages of online self-disclosure.
Texting Factory Complaints
The most common criticism of Texting Factory is that you only get paid once, possibly before your account is permanently deleted. But that doesn’t change the fact that they owe you money.
I think there would be a lot more to complain about if this were the case with everyone. Still, it seems that a significant number of people are affected by this problem.
Texting Factory has been getting bad reviews. Also, I find the positive reviews dubious because they appear amidst what seems to be hundreds of negative reviews.
It’s not that I think the positive reviews are made up. I think some people here are happy and making money. The problem is that there are so many more malicious actors than good ones.
In addition to accounts being blocked and not being paid, there are other common complaints:
- Frustration with coaches
- Unhappy about switching from Payoneer to Bitsafe
- They don’t respond to emails
- Delays in payment
User reviews can mislead you. Not because they are wrong, but because they have to be compared to the vast majority of customers who did not even bother to write a review.
There are two emotions in particular that drive people to take the time to write a review: Anger and Joy.
A significant number of people lie somewhere in the middle, doing neither extreme. As with most companies, the vast majority of them are uninspired. There is nothing positive or negative they can say about the company (which is good).
In other words, it may seem that the vast majority of Texting Factory’s chat staff is unhappy, but in reality that’s probably not the case. They are not very excited (or unhappy) to write a review.

How Much You Will Earn With Texting Factory?
By replying to casual or pornographic text messages on a fantasy-based text network, chat operators can earn between $300 and $400 each week, according to the website.
But this representation is contradictory.
In its job posting, Texting Factory advertises $10 to $12 per hour.
However, one Trustpilot reviewer claims that you can earn $100 per week by working only 10 hours per day, six days per week.
This is what he had to say:
“$100 per week by processing 1,000 messages per week, which requires six days per week and ten hours per day for six days. In short, Textingfactory and all other text-based companies are not jobs. That’s because they all make their employees work hard for a pittance and lock your account to earn more and lower their labor costs.
So find a better job that pays well, and stop wasting your time working 50-60 hours a week for a meager $100 at Text Factory.”
Another Trustpilot user claims his sofa told him he had to send 770 messages each week to receive $30.47; that’s $4.35 per day if you send more than 110 messages.
This means that you have to send at least 10,000 messages to earn $300 every week in the Texting Factory.
Pros of Texting Factory
- Anonymity.
- It costs nothing to become a member.
- You can work whenever you want, day or night.
- There are no prerequisites or qualifications.
- All countries are covered.
Cons of Texting Factory
- Personal information and identification documents are shared with evalid, which appears to be controlled by the same people as Texting Factory.
- Since we know nothing about the owners of Texting Factory, I can only refer to them as “the people behind Texting Factory”
- Payment problems with Bitsafe (which may also be owned by the same people).
- They mainly serve the adult market.
- A confidentiality penalty of $30,000 per breach of confidentiality, without the provider (them) having to prove any loss or damage.
Texting Factory Review: Final Verdict
I know your desire to make money without leaving home, and I think Texting Factory could provide that opportunity. You may be right about that.
Sharing your personal information with a company you don’t know is my biggest concern. Even though I don’t think anything is really wrong, this is a pretty big drawback.
Due to the nature of their business, Texting Factory needs to verify the age and identity of all potential employees. Once the information is published, it cannot be controlled or predicted.
The low fee per message is the other problem, which may be tolerable if you receive thousands of text messages weekly.
If you don’t, you may have to get a second job to make ends meet.
You may be a full-time student or a parent raising a child alone. Or you may have difficulty working your regular job due to health problems.
To that end, you might find success with an Internet business. Let me tell you the best online business to start in the next section.
