Are you looking for a Survey Compare review? But you may wonder if it is a scam.
To the untrained eye, SurveyCompare, like any other survey panel, is rich in possibilities.
Is SurveyCompare a scam or a real company with a lot of potential?
Read our review of SurveyCompare to learn everything you need to know before signing up. The title of this review should give you an idea of how I feel about the survey panel in question.
But that doesn’t mean it’s not a good choice for you. Read on to learn more about what it offers, whether it’s safe, and whether or not you should sign up.
As a disclaimer, I’m not affiliated with Survey Compare. It means I’m not paid to write this review. So you can rest assured that you will get an honest and unbiased review from me.
At the end of this review, I’ll also tell you the best alternative to Survey Compare that has enabled me to make a full-time passive income online.
What is Survey Compare?
SurveyCompare.net is the primary URL for the company, but SurveyCompare UK is a different name for the same website.
However, the company maintains numerous websites under various additional domain names for use in different international locations. It is the same general concept, but localized versions of the site may have a different domain name and visual esthetic.
Since anyone from around the world can participate, I will explain this in more detail shortly.
However, SurveyCompare is not like other survey sites. So if you participate from any country, you will be presented with the same options.
Marketing VF Ltd, a company based in the UK, is the brains behind SurveyCompare. But, and I’ll explain why, it’s not entirely clear to me what this company actually is.
This review is based on my own experience with the site and is my honest assessment of its merits. Therefore, consider it merely an opinion and draw your own conclusions.
Survey Compare Features
At first glance, one might mistake SurveyCompare’s website for that of any other reputable survey panel.
There are clear indications that respondents can earn money or other incentives in exchange for completing surveys after signing up for free.
The sign-up link is also quite easy to find.
You can see examples of the different prizes you can earn, such as gift cards, a PayPal account, and an Amazon account. It looks like you can sign up and start taking surveys right away, so that’s pretty typical.
However, this panel is not like a traditional survey panel at all. It’s a website designed to find new people to fill out online surveys. There’s no real problem with that. I am also happy to send them in the direction of reputable survey communities.
However, I do not think SurveyCompare is completely honest about what services it offers.
If you are not familiar with the process of making money through paid surveys, you may think that SurveyCompare.net will really help you with that.
How Does Survey Compare Work?
First, you need to enter your age and gender into Survey Compare. Then you will be presented with a selection of survey sites to participate in. You can choose which surveys you want to participate in.
After you select your preferred sites, you will be directed to a short registration form where you can enter your personal information.
The final step is to create a profile with each survey company, where you will be screened for your demographic information and eligibility to participate. This can take anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes and include some really introspective questions, but it varies greatly from company to company.
One of my main problems with conducting online surveys is this. In order to connect you with appropriate surveys, they need to know more about your specific demographics.
Therefore, they will push you to reveal details that you would not reveal even to your closest confidant.
Nevertheless, some websites are more intrusive than others, and usually it is possible to avoid answering some of the most intimate questions.
Survey Junkie and Inbox Dollars are two of the most popular paid Internet survey services. The best thing about Inbox Dollars is that you get paid to do things that you already do online anyway, such as explore the Internet, visit websites and watch videos.
If you need a full-time income but can’t find one in the traditional job market – perhaps because of health problems, childcare responsibilities, or a general dislike of your current job – starting an Internet business could be the solution.
However, to stay on top of things and find useful resources, you need to know how (and where) to get started.
Once you’ve conducted the necessary online surveys to determine your target audience, you’re ready to get started.
You can now participate in online surveys in hopes of being rewarded for your time and effort.
Since you’re interacting with a third party, the method of payment varies from company to company.
In most cases, you’ll receive points that can be redeemed for prizes such as PayPal cash and branded items.
How Do You Get Paid?
I want to make it clear that using SurveyCompare will not result in financial compensation for your time. Although well-known brands like PayPal, Amazon, etc. can be seen in the background of the page.
However, it turns out that in reality you are not participating in SurveyCompare. Only links to survey sites are provided. The individual survey forums, not SurveyCompare, are responsible for payment.
In my experience, PayPal is the most reliable way to get paid for completing surveys, but other options such as gift cards and Amazon are also commonly offered.
Who Is Really Behind SurveyCompare?
SurveyCompare is the brainchild of Marketing VF Ltd. While investigating and testing SurveyCompare, I came across some strange occurrences that seemed to be related to it.
I have no idea what this information means, but it seems important to my research.
Authentic details about Marketing VF Ltd. were hard to find, however. A few online resources included the name and address, and both pointed to London as the location. The odd thing, however, is that hyperlinks to the company’s website are included.
The company’s website address is linked to Bloomberg.com, but the page it leads to has nothing to do with survey panels and everything to do with comparing solar panels.
Instead, a link posted on LinkedIn can be used to find a price comparison site for postage metres.
It appears that the company operates several websites that are quite similar to SurveyCompare, but aimed at slightly different audiences. There’s certainly nothing wrong with more websites, but I find it odd that the information I’ve seen online is scattered all over the place.
In addition, SurveyCompare’s official blog features a variety of topics unrelated to paid surveys and has not been updated for many years, which is why we decided to write this review.
This makes me feel that the company is trying to send me in too many ways at once, and that the articles I am sent to are of low quality.
This in no way refutes the possibility of value or the veracity of the claim. I am only giving my view of things and what I have found.
Is Survey Compare A Scam?
Survey Compare is not a scam, and Survey Compare is reputable.
The company honestly states how much money you can make with surveys. They will be the first to tell you that the money you make from surveys is chump change. They will not be a source of money.
You can make some extra money by taking online surveys, as they put it on their website, “Do not fall for a website that offers an unreasonable payout.
Paid surveys are a quick and easy way to get some extra cash. SurveyCompare only works with reputable market research companies, unlike some other survey sites.
You will never be asked to make any payments to our carefully selected partners; after all, it is you who makes money here, not them.
The most common complaint about survey sites is that after completing a portion of the survey (or the entire survey), you are notified that you did not qualify for the prize. So your time spent answering the surveys was all for nothing. You should not expect any payment.
This is due to the fact that completing the survey is usually a prerequisite for the market research firm to determine if you are eligible for the study.
For this reason, it is generally referred to as fraud.
Is Survey Compare For You?
Online surveys are not a good pastime if you value your time.
However, if you are like me and like to check your Facebook feed or play a game on your phone while watching TV, then you might be interested in answering some simple questions and getting some money in return.
That’s why you should give SurveyCompare a chance.
The best way to make money online, in my opinion, is to start an internet business that generates passive income, meaning that the effort I put in now will pay off in years to come.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to make that much money by taking internet surveys.
There are ways to make money online, and you could even make it your full-time job. Since this is how I make my living, I know it can be done. Besides, I am certainly not the brightest light in the lamp shop.
Sure it’s not as easy as filling out surveys, but if you are anything like me, you’ll be happy to put in some effort if you can benefit from it.
If you are looking to be more independent and self-sufficient, then you need to have a plan for how to get there.
Survey Compare Reviews and Complaints
Not many companies can claim to have received so few online complaints. Most comments and reviews are not about Survey Compare itself, but about the external survey sites they redirect you to.
- It is reasonable to anticipate the most common criticism. Complete or partial completion of the survey, followed by the inevitable “you do not qualify” message.
- In one of the comments, a user stated that his antivirus software had started warning him about adware and tracker dangers. It is hard to determine that this is not from Survey Compare. This probably has nothing to do with Survey Compare itself, but with another website.
- It is also a popular annoyance that there are not enough surveys. Whether or not you can participate in surveys depends on your demographic profile. Being inundated with survey invitations on a daily basis, I can confirm that this practice is widespread; however, due to the meager compensation, I rarely participate unless I am testing for a review.
Survey Compare Pros and Cons
If you’re reading this, you may be wondering if Survey Compare is worth your time. Below are some pros and cons to consider before dismissing the idea completely:
- Survey Compare seems to promote only reputable and trustworthy survey sites (but you can also sign up directly with trusted sites)
- It is completely free to join. Registration is free, as with all reputable survey sites.
- There is no way to make money directly because Survey Compare collects your data to sell to other companies.
- It is difficult to see the benefit of participating in paid survey sites through a third party.
- We are concerned about the intentions of the site owners as little information is available about them.
- There are no explicit assurances that Survey Compare complies with Australian privacy laws or the Code of Conduct for Market Research. This raises concerns about how customer data provided by users is handled.
Alternatives To SurveyCompare
If you don’t want to use partners like SurveyCompare, go directly to GPT apps and survey panels like those listed below:
Among the various GPT apps available, Swagbucks is widely considered the most comprehensive.
Paid surveys range from $0.50 to $2, but you can earn an extra dollar or two per hour by doing other tasks, such as playing games, downloading sponsored apps, answering quizzes, and redeeming cashback vouchers.
SurveyCompare allows you to connect to multiple survey panels at the same time. However, if you sign up for surveys on multiple sites, you may miss out on the best surveys that make the most money. Check out SurveyJunkie if you want to take more surveys and have a better chance of qualifying.
SurveyJunkie claims to offer enough survey opportunities so that you can earn between $5 and $12 in an hour.
If you’re a gamer, you should check out Mistplay. Sponsored mobile games, similar to those found on Google Play and the App Store, pay customers $1 to $3 to download and play. If you reach certain goals while playing, you earn even more.
Try Honeygain if you’re looking for a passive way to make money. SurveyCompare users are required to create multiple accounts and complete surveys daily.
But Honeygain won’t bother you with questions. Install the add-on, and your unused bandwidth will be automatically distributed to the company’s partners. It’s possible to earn an additional $20 per month continuously.
Branded Surveys‘ premium surveys are aggregated on SurveyCompare. Even though the prices are the same ($0.50 to $3), opening an account gives you immediate access to the VIP program, which can increase your earnings. The only thing you need to do is to check your account regularly.
Survey Compare Review: Final Verdict
When it comes to conducting online surveys, Survey Compare can be a helpful tool that allows you to sign up with many websites at once.

You need to look elsewhere for it. My top recommendation is a platform called Wealthy Affiliate, which offers comprehensive instructions and a free membership.
However, online surveys can be a good starting point if you’ve never made money online before. Sites like Survey Junkie and Inbox Dollars are by no means the only viable options, but they’re great starting points.
