Are you looking for a SocialDM review? You might have heard of this app if you want to make money online. But you may wonder if it is a scam.
Some genuine mobile monetization players, such as AirLoyal (Ladooo.com) and Pokkt (Pocket Money), incentivize through free mobile recharges and cashbacks.
However, there are many fly-by-night operators who appear and disappear all the time. These apps usually promise cold cash that will be deposited into your bank account.
To help you make a more informed decision, I have thoroughly researched the SocialDM so I can tell you more about it.
As a disclaimer, I’m not affiliated with SocialDM. It means I’m not paid to write this review. So you can rest assured that you will get an honest and unbiased review from me.
At the end of this review, I’ll also tell you the best alternative to SocialDM that has enabled me to make a full-time passive income online.
What is SocialDM?
You can earn rewards on SociaDM by completing surveys and other tasks or inviting your friends.
You have probably seen on the website that you can earn $500 per day there.
According to SocialDM, it is also the most profitable social network. Influencers reportedly appreciate its openness, customizability, and generous rewards.
Since April 2022, SocialDM has attracted a lot of attention, and it’s easy to see why. SocialDM ‘s homepage boldly proclaims, “Earn $500 today” and “Social DM is the direct way to earn $500 a day.”
Users are encouraged to sign up for Social DM, share the service with their friends and family, and eventually cash out their earnings via PayPal. Each new user who signs up through your referral link will earn $40, and you will receive $15 for each additional user who signs up based on your invitation.
Is that what you expected?
You can make nearly $200,000 a year with zero skills, zero education, and zero effort?
I don’t believe it; this seems too good to be true.
It’s fairly obvious that this is a hoax, but let’s investigate further anyway.
How Does SocialDM Work?
SocialDm describes how it works as follows:
Step 1: Sign up for free
Get a $40 bonus by using SocialDM for free.
However, don’t expect to receive your $40 immediately after registering. You must meet certain requirements before you can withdraw your money.
To cash out with SocialDM, you must meet the following requirements:
- Get 20 Clicks
- Get 10 Invites
- Do 6 Offers
- Earn $130 Invite Bonus
It is not unusual for legit reward and survey sites to have requirements such as these. However, it becomes more sinister when they do not pay you for all these tasks.
And SocialDM is not going to pay you.
Step 2. Share Your Referral Link on Social Media
To get more people to join their site, SocialDM wants you to promote their site.
Supposedly, you’ll receive $15 for every new member you refer through your link. Your account is credited $2 regardless of whether the person joins after clicking your referral link.
There are other ways to earn money through SocialDM, just as it does with its sister scams.
You can find many tasks in their “Offer Center” in the left-hand menu of your dashboard that allegedly pay $120; most of them involve surveys.
It seems that you can get paid JUST for sharing on social media and YouTube in addition to surveys and inviting new members.
The posts you make on social media don’t even have to produce results. It doesn’t matter if no one joins, you’ll still get paid.
Additionally, these social media posts pay well.
- YouTube – $50
- Instagram – $40
- Facebook – $45
- TikTok – $80
- SnapChat – $90
By signing up for free trials and subscriptions on their Offer Center, you can earn hundreds of dollars once you’ve done everything you can to attract new referrals on YouTube and Social Media. Some offers may require you to perform paid-to-click tasks, depending on when you join.
Step 3. Cash Out
Withdrawing should be easy once you have met the requirements. You can withdraw your money by simply requesting it.
The world would be so much better if it was only that simple…
If they do not ignore you completely, your account will be suspended, you will be accused of fraud, or you will be told that you have not completed enough tasks.
Your repeated requests are ignored even though none of them are true.
You will not be paid by SocialDM.
Even if they wanted to pay you, they can not because they do not have the money. These huge amounts would require billions of dollars that they do not have.
Is SocialDM a Scam?
The people behind SocialDM know that you want to work remotely and make money.
People are always looking for a way out of their predicament. Numerous scammers take advantage of people’s hopes for a better life by promising them an “easy” or “quick” way out of their current situation.
Websites like SocialDM are excellent for this.
They claim to be the most popular social income platform and also promise easy money.
That’s why I knew right away that SocialDM is a scam. I will explain that and a few other things here.
However, the claim of being the #1 social earning network is shared by many other websites, including BonusJunkies, MoneyGuru, Cash Monster and many others.
They are all cons. I have looked at many different ones and they are all the same. And they are all connected in the same web of scam.
Social DM is, at its core, a referral scam. Someone signs up, sends invitations to their friends, and they in turn are told to invite their friends, and so on. On Social DM, people are constantly signing up and inviting their friends to do the same.
This directs many people to the SocialDM website, where they can be identified and contacted via email. In the end, SocialDM is just another platform where people give away their opinions and data in the hope of getting money in return.
Not only that, do not take our word for it. SocialDM users have taken to the r/SocialDM subreddit to express their discontent over the service’s alleged failure to pay them.
Every time a user’s payment is submitted for review, SocialDM ‘s team checks it, and if everything looks good, it is sent.
But then there is absolute silence. SocialDM promises to pay its customers on a certain date, but so far no money has been transferred.
Websites like SocialDM, which do not directly ask for money or payments, can still be fraudulent. Some rip-off artists try to make you part with your money, while others, like Social DM, are just out to steal as much of your personal information as they can. Social DM relies on people willingly giving up their email addresses and names in exchange for a daily payout of up to $500. Avoid Social DM, warn your contacts to stay away, and move on with your life.
Is SocialDM Legit?
It’s hard to say that SocialDM is absolutely legit. Although Social DM does not explicitly ask for financial information from its users, it is still fraudulent. For example, Social DM is a phishing scam that aims to steal as much personal information as possible from its victims.
SocialDM and similar scams can grab your data to make money via affiliate commissions and other means. Collecting your email address and other personal information opens the door for spam and identity theft.
And if you log in to SocialDM with the same email address and password as you do with Amazon, for example, they have access to all of your online accounts.
Change your passwords and any other credentials immediately if they match the ones you used to sign in to SocialDM.
The BBB has received reports of scams from victims of Notion Cash and Kids Earn Money, two other sites in this network.
The report claims that those interested in earning extra money online sign up with what they believe is a marketing company that offers “tasks” in exchange for financial compensation. When consumers reach a certain threshold, such as $250 or another predetermined amount, they can request payment. However, they claim that they are unable to retrieve the promised payment or contact the company.
Of course, you would rather not take this risk.
SocialDM Review – Red Flags
The website socialdm.co clearly has something shady going on. These aren’t the only red flags. The list goes on.
1. You Won’t Get Paid by socialdm.co
Companies pay SocialDM to drive traffic to their offers, and you get a piece of the pie in the form of payments in exchange.
Referring more people to SocialDM exposes more people to their advertisers, which increases profits for everyone.
However, if you haven’t already, you’ll notice that there aren’t many advertisers. In fact, I didn’t notice any until I visited their offer center.
That means their advertisers take a back seat to the most important task: recruiting new members.
You can invite people for months and think you’re making money without ever entering the Offer Center except to meet a few minimum requirements.
So, how does SocialDM make money if new people sign up for free all the time?
Let us pause here for a moment to reflect on something.
SocialDM claims to pay $50 for uploading a video to YouTube. Why would they do such a thing?
In fact, all of these “dollars” are created out of thin air because no one is producing anything here.
When they send you to various companies to complete offers, SocialDM will earn small affiliate commissions, but nowhere near what they claim to pay out to their members.
They are unable to pay you.
That’s why legitimate online survey sites like Survey Junkie and Inbox Dollars (among others) don’t make such absurd claims. Their payouts are reasonable.
If you want to make more money, starting an online business is a better option.
You could be at home caring for children or unable to work due to medical issues.
If that’s the case, and you want to work from home full-time, you’ll need to know how and where to get started in order to get what you want.
2. SocialDM is an MLM
To get more people to sign up for SocialDM, the company employs the grand old multi-level marketing strategy. The user receives nothing unless a successful referral is made. As a result, there is no payout if you only install and join.
Only if his friends join, install, and complete the series of actions required to earn pointsmoney does the user get paid. So, technically, each new user brings in more users and revenue for the app, and the cycle continues.
3. Bogus Testimonials
Reviews are typically a major factor in a user’s decision to download or not download an app.
SocialDM has far too many positive, albeit phony, reviews. It will be clear from the text. In each of these phony testimonials and reviews, there are keywords or even sentences that are repeated.
The rating is typically high because the bogus high ratings outnumber any genuine negative ratings received by the app.
After some research, we found that Socialdm.co is using “modeling picture” found on other websites for their so called “real user reviews”.
What makes them use fake testimonials and payment proofs?
There is no confidence in their credibility if they have to fake it (even though they should have (potentially) 690,000 examples).
4. Socialdm.co is a New Website
So far, we know that SocialDM reportedly has hundreds of thousands of active users and has paid out between $35 million and $5.5 billion.
Keep in mind that the domain name socialdm.co was only created in December 2021; if that doesn’t impress you, nothing will. About six months have passed since then.
Is it realistic to think that you can gain 690,000 members and pay them tens of millions, if not billions, of dollars in six months?
We need to look at the practical aspects of this.
Billions of dollars in revenue are required before SocialDM can pay out such a sum. And if the numbers (from earlier) are to be believed, they’d need to double their monthly revenue to reach what TikTok earned in 2021.
Is it possible they could’ve done all that in just six months?
And none of the major news outlets reported on it?
Compared to the other big tech companies in Silicon Valley, they’ve accomplished much more and grown faster than anyone else.
And they’ve done it secretly, without attracting the attention of major investors or venture capitalists, going from zero to billions in just six months.
Because of their low profile, they rely on us to spread the word.
That, or they’re simply trying to deceive you. They’re either reputable or a scam, and my money is on the latter.
Joining a reputable survey site like surveyjunkie.com or inboxdollars.com is the best option. Unlike SocialDM, which only promises to pay you $500 per day, this company has a good track record of paying out on time.
Their payouts are lower because they’re based on REAL data and not fakes.
Both have a long history and good reputation in their respective fields. They can also serve as a foundation for a larger and sustainable online business.
Pros of SocialDM
It would be nice if SocialDM actually worked, but unfortunately it does not. We can raise a glass to triumph when the money comes in. The site is not reputable, and its users are not compensated.
Cons of SocialDM
- It is a fraud.
- Falsified payment vouchers and certificates
- Identity theft and account hacking are very likely.
- They offer you hope and a solution to your financial problems. However, they dash your hopes by not paying you.
SocialDM Review: Final Verdict
I know you’re looking for a way to make money online and would love to be able to make $500 a day with no prior experience or training. I too would love to be able to make $500 a day without any special training or experience.
Unfortunately, that’s not how the internet (or any other form of money making) works.
If it was easy, everyone would be doing it, as they say.
Maybe you’re struggling with the burden of mounting debt or unpaid bills, and at first glance SocialDM seems like a good solution. Unfortunately, it isn’t. It’s all a scam.
You may be either a full-time student or a parent raising a child alone. Maybe you’ve health problems that prevent you from working regularly, or you loathe your current job and would do anything to leave it.
A web-based business is just the thing for you if that’s the case.
With all the scams and scams, it’s important to know how and where to start properly.
Online surveys and paid surveys are reputable and a good place to start if you’re looking for some extra spending money.
Survey Junkie is one such service that pays you for your opinion, while Inbox Dollars rewards you for things like surfing the web, watching movies and answering surveys (as well as filling them out).
SocialDM Alternative: Make Passive Income Online
Maybe you have a stack of bills to pay, and at first glance, SocialDM looks like a solution. But it is not. It’s nothing more than a scam.
Instead of wasting your time on cash apps, it is better to start your own business.
If you’re new to online business, you may think it’s difficult to start an online business on your own. But actually that’s not true.
There’s a risk-free online business model that doesn’t need initial capital and can be done as a side-hustle. It is called “affiliate marketing”.
So you may wonder, “how much can you earn in affiliate marketing?”
Actually the earning potential of affiliate marketing is huge. There’re people who are doing it full-time and earn a 7-figure income a year.
This is a 21-year-old student from my #1 recommended training platform of affiliate marketing. He was able to earn $7395 in just a week. That means more than $1K a day. It’s nearly impossible for you to find a part-time job that can pay you $1K a day. But affiliate marketing can.
In fact, of all the online business models I’ve tried, affiliate marketing is the easiest and most rewarding one. If you’re a beginner in online business, affiliate marketing is perfect for you because it’s simple but lucrative.
And Wealthy Affiliate is my #1 top recommended platform for building an affiliate marketing business from scratch.
If you don’t know Wealthy Affiliate, it has existed for more than a decade and is now one of the largest internet communities of affiliate marketing.
Many members of Wealthy Affiliate are able to enjoy a steady passive income, which allows them to quit their 9 to 5 job and travel around the world.
