Early Life

Shaggy was born in Kingston, Jamaica on October 22, 1968. As a young boy, he discovered his passion and talent for singing and began taking singing lessons.

He moved to New York when he was 18 years old. He made his debut with ‘Man A Mi Yard,’ which was followed by songs like ‘Bullet Proof Buddy.’
