How Do MLMs Work?

Since Q Sciences is a MLM. Let’s discuss MLM background information in this section.

You may find that they seem approachable and transparent at first, but as you dig deeper, you will notice some inconsistencies regarding their promises.

You were promised that you will be given a better opportunity by joining this MLM (Q Sciences, in this case). This sounds like a tempting deal to any person. MLMs are adept at knowing the right words to use in any situation in order to convey sympathy for the recruits.

It may be worthwhile for you to consider the other reasons they approached you. I suggest stalking their Facebook account to learn more about them.

Who has the most friends on their list? Would you like to bet? There must be a lot of people in there, perhaps even thousands.

You may be wondering why they approached you with this statistic. Many people have already been approached. It’s just a copy-and-paste script they sent you, and it doesn’t sound like they prepared it themselves.

You will be introduced to a world where no one will help you if you decide to join the company.

I apologize in advance if you expect that you will be trained in the business. You are no longer their concern because they have already taken your money.

There is no job here to learn on, so learning on the job isn’t really an option. You’ve been conned. The only way to at least get a return on your investment is to make this work.

What is the Q Sciences Compensation Plan?

Affiliates of Q Sciences can earn commissions on purchases they make as a result of a rewards program.

You can earn more money if you have a higher rank.

Qualifications For Earnings With Q Sciences

A monthly product sale of 100 PV or Personal Volume would be the minimum threshold for an incentive plan.

Q Sciences Ranks

Ranking metrics are used by Q Sciences. You can earn more with the payout package if you have a higher rank.

A total of 16 rankings are available.

  1. Builder Rank
  2. Pro Rank
  3. Executive Rank
  4. Elite Rank
  5. Bronze Rank
  6. Silver Rank
  7. Gold Rank
  8. Platinum Rank
  9. Ruby Rank
  10. Emerald Rank
  11. Diamond Rank
  12. Blue Diamond Rank
  13. Black Diamond Rank
  14. Royal Diamond Rank
  15. Presidential Diamond Rank
  16. Crown Diamond Rank

Q Sciences Retail Commissions

When you sell to clients, Q Sciences pays you a commission, like other MLMs.

Based on the total sales value, commissions are calculated.

Based on the sales volume mentioned here, this percentage increases as sales increase:

  • Earnings from 1 to 500 GV would result in a 15% retail revenue commission rate.
  • Earnings from 501 to 1000 GV would result in a 20% retail sales commission rate.
  • If you have 1001 or more GV, you can receive a 25% retail sales commission rate.

Residual Commissions

Typically, the most appealing aspect of an MLM company is the residual income you will receive.

Q Sciences’ unilevel payout plan determines residual commissions, so it just depends on the amount you qualify for.

Q Sciences Rank Bonus

A ranking achievement award is also offered by Q Sciences.

You typically receive this type of incentive and payout as you reach the next stage of your compensation plan.

Usually, these “one-time” incentives are presented as an opportunity for you to work harder so that you can advance to the next level, which results in more profits for the company and more revenue for you.

Q Sciences’ compensation plan can be explained better in this video than I can. I recommend watching it.

How Much Does It Cost To Join Q Sciences?

Q Sciences charges $79.95 to get your business off the ground. A launching kit, which costs $560, is also recommended.

You must pay $79.95 to become an affiliate of Q Sciences. However, this does not include the products you will be selling.

Depending on the package, affiliates can choose from rates ranging from $125 to $435.

Although this is the least expensive of the MLM companies, their brand has been associated with alarming issues, so I don’t recommend it as an investment.

Is Q Sciences A Pyramid Scheme or Ponzi Scheme?

Pyramid schemes are commonly called MLMs, but in reality, they are two different things.

For network marketing companies, the business model itself is legitimate because 1) they sell tangible or digital products, and 2) their compensation plans do not rely on recruiting alone.

In MLM, distributors don’t earn directly from referring another person, rather, they receive commissions from their downline or team’s sales.

When it comes to pyramid schemes, the only source of income is the money from new referrals.

The cash will be used to pay you for inviting new members, and while that may work for a short while, if they run out of recruits, they will run out of cash.

In contrast, Ponzi schemes ask investors to invest a huge amount of cash so they can gain a large return in the future.

Due to the lack of products to sell and make money from nor legitimate stocks or programs to invest in, it’s unstable and considered a scam.

In spite of all the lawsuits they’ve endured, Q Sciences follows a legit MLM business model, so it’s not a pyramid or Ponzi scheme.

Watch this YouTube video to learn more about pyramid scheme.

Q Sciences Pros

Given the MLM nature of Q Sciences, I cannot find any pros to talk about for Q Sciences.

Q Sciences Cons and Complaints

1. Q Sciences Engages In Unethical Business Practices

Many of their distributors do unethical business practices in order to gain sales. One woman who sells the supplements claims that their products can replace prescription medications.

There is one news report that proves how dangerous it is to disregard medical prescriptions and use their supplements alone. There is no point to this other than to make a sale.

2. Q Sciences Doesn’t Provide Income Disclosure Statement

Despite browsing their site and searching online, I was not able to locate Q Science’s income disclosure statement.

Those interested in becoming their ambassador or consultant should check this out. I wish it was available for download. What are they hiding?

3. Q Sciences is Involved in Lots of Controversies

A controversial incident involving Daren Hogge’s former company, Genesis, has stirred controversy. The Texas AG filed a fraud lawsuit against Genesis.

Moreover, the companies Hogge was associated with made many false claims about their products. The companies claim they are able to manufacture “miracle products”.

Q Sciences was once again embroiled in controversy after a distributor claimed that the company’s products can heal any type of mental illness.

Deceptive claims are also made by the company, such as telling distributors to act like medical professionals by telling customers that these vitamins are better than what their doctors prescribed.

4. Q Sciences is An Mlm

Due to the fact that this is an MLM, many people have failed at this business. 99% of people who join MLMs fail to make money, and they don’t even make back the money they invested.

How To Make Money From Q Sciences

The only two ways to make money with Q Sciences are through MLM. and these are:

  1. Selling products
  2. Recruiting members

Money can be made in two main ways, as I stated above.

Selling products is the easiest way to make money online. Multi-level marketing companies offer members discounts on their products. Members buy the products and then resell them at retail price. The profit is the difference between the retail and wholesale prices.

Recruiting, on the other hand, is a very different method. Through this method, you will be able to earn a lot more, but it is difficult.

To recruit, you have to scout for people and make sure those you recruit stay active. Getting people interested is difficult since not everyone you know will be interested.

It is important to remember that the MLM business model is not sustainable, so you will run out of people to recruit over time.

The number of products you sell does not matter to MLMs. It’s how many you can buy and how many people you can bring in that matters to them.

How Much Money Can You Make With Q Sciences?

I have analyzed other MLM companies in the past, and it seems like this one is no different.

A number of companies refuse to disclose their income on their earnings reports, including Q Sciences. I am not surprised by this.

In the past, I have examined hundreds of MLM companies and most of them have not disclosed their income. It may be because they are not obligated to, but even so, a minority of companies still publish theirs.

Why doesn’t Q Sciences release one? It is important to remember that MLMs are businesses which require trust from both sides: the corporate side and the member side.

In most cases, however, what the corporate side says will be implemented. Member opinions are rarely considered.

Why won’t Q Sciences share how much their company earns with the public if they’re so confident about their earnings? The answer to that question is fairly straightforward.

The company lied that joining it was a better way to make money than getting a real job. Joining MLMs does not make money, and I am not surprised that people who joined Q Sciences regretted their decision.

Is Q Sciences A Scam?

I cannot say Q Sciences is a scam for legal reasons.

Technically, this program can make you money, but it isn’t as easy as the company claims.

There’s a lot to do upfront, no real guarantee of success, and perhaps most importantly, the commissions are pretty small.

If your reward is a $50 commission after grinding it out for three months, it’s not worth it.

Imagine if you were able to complete the same amount of work (in your spare time), and the reward was a $500 to $2,000 payment every month instead?

You are lucky to be here. Because I will tell you how to make money online using a sustainable and 100% legit method. Please read on.

Q Sciences Review: Final Verdict

Here comes the conclusion of my Q Sciences MLM review. Overall, I don’t recommend joining Q Sciences MLM to make money.

You will have a tough time at the beginning when you are prospecting and trying to find recruiters to add to your Q Sciences commission.

The review may seem biased since I haven’t said anything good about the company, but I have a good reason for this.

Often, MLM companies make bold claims when inviting new people. For example, they claimed that their supplements could cure mental conditions to trick people. I do not like that aspect of the company.

I recommend that you don’t believe anything you hear from MLMs. Since I mentioned these companies’ greed and manipulation, I think I have made myself clear.

There is no income disclosure statement for this MLM in particular. That speaks volumes about their credibility.

There is an opportunity that is a lot better than an MLM. Let me tell you more about this in the next section.

Q Sciences Review FAQs

1. What Does Q Sciences Sell?

The Q Sciences products are those that contribute to living a “quintessential life.” Nutrition, sports nutrition, skin care, and weight loss products are some of the products.

2. What is MLM?

Multi-level marketing (MLM) is a type of network marketing where independent distributors earn commissions from the sales of products and from the sales of people they recruit.

3. Where to Buy Q Sciences Products?

You can purchase Q Sciences products through the official website. As the company is a multilevel marketing company, individuals can also buy these supplements from authorized distributors. Therefore, Q Sciences prices may fluctuate.

4. Q Sciences Return and Exchange Policy

If you are not satisfied with any Q Sciences product that you purchased, you may return the unused portion of the product to Q Sciences for a refund or an exchange within thirty (30) days from the date of purchase.

Please contact the Ambassador directly for a refund if you purchased the product directly from the ambassador (i.e., ambassadors in the U.S. and Canada only). All shipping costs are non-refundable.

5. What is Q Sciences’ revenue?

On the basis of the numbers we have seen, we estimate $5 million. The company hasn’t been updated since 2016.

6. How many Q Sciences distributors are there?

The numbers have not been published.

7. What lawsuits have been filed against Q Sciences?

Nadia Tarazi sued Q Sciences for breach of fiduciary duty and unfair and deceptive business practices in 2015. The lawsuit was partly dismissed in 2017.

Similarly, Q Sciences sued Naturesmax in 2015 for trademark infringement, but that suit was later dismissed.

8. Is Q Sciences BBB Accredited?

The Better Business Bureau does not accredit Q Sciences at the present time.

According to the BBB website, this is because the company has been in business for a long time.

Visit the BBB website for more information.

9. Do Q Sciences Weight Loss Products Work?

Q Sciences’ weight-loss products include Q Trim and Q Sciences Hemp Oil. This product contains green tea extract, garcinia cambogia extract, and white kidney bean extract. Is this combination effective for weight loss?

According to the International Journal of Food Sciences and Nutrition, green tea has been studied for decades for its health benefits. This research has largely focused on metabolism and weight loss.

Occasionally you’ll come across a study that shows green tea doesn’t aid in weight loss in obese people.

While garcinia is commonly found in weight-loss supplements, there are some individuals who should never take products like these. Some studies have shown mental health side effects when garcinia is used.

The effects of white kidney beans on the breakdown of carbohydrates have been studied, but a more recent study from 2020 indicates otherwise. White kidney beans may not work as claimed.
