Prosperity of Life Review (2023): Pyramid Scheme or MLM?

Are you considering joining Prosperity of Life? It’s important to be aware that network marketing companies, like Prosperity of Life, have both advantages and disadvantages.

Each company is unique, but it is possible to make money through them. However, some have a reputation for causing financial harm to their members.

Many people learn about Prosperity of Life through a trusted internet friend or influencer.

It’s easy to see why so many people speak positively about the company – having a source of income outside of a traditional 9-to-5 job can be life-changing.

Multi-level marketing (MLM) is a business model where you pay a company to sell their products. The quality of these products may vary, and some may be overpriced.

The main way to make money with MLM is by recruiting others to join and purchase products regularly.

As an experienced Internet entrepreneur, I’m in a good position to share with you everything I know about the program. Over the years, I’ve reviewed many MLM companies

As a disclaimer, I’m not affiliated with Prosperity of Life. It means I’m not paid to write this review. So you can rest assured that you will get an honest and unbiased review from me.

At the end of this article, I’ll also tell you a better way to make money online.

What is Prosperity of Life?

Prosperity of Life, an MLM company that was previously known as Polaris Global, has recently changed its name to reflect a more optimistic business outlook. The company was founded by Shane Krider and his wife Rachel.

It’s so annoying that Prosperity of Life (you know, like a lot of other multi-level marketing companies) keeps changing its name all the time.

I mean, first, it was Polaris Media Group, then it became Prosperity of Life and The Prosperity of Life Network.

But I guess they’re still around and doing their thing. I mean, they’re still doing all the usual stuff like training, customer service, resource management, and support.

But all their courses, materials, and products are now under the Prosperity of Life brand. I guess that’s their new public face and the company that’s in charge of their intellectual property.

The company’s website states that they sell tools to improve one’s life and generate income. Essentially, you can earn money by promoting the company’s products.

When you join the program, you will have access to systems for promotion, products to sell, training on how to sell better, and mentoring to help guide you along the way.

Is Prosperity Of Life a Pyramid Scheme?

Prosperity of Life is very similar to a pyramid scheme. The main way to make money with the program is by recruiting new members, rather than selling actual products.

The company may try to dress it up as a multi-level marketing opportunity, but it’s important to be able to spot the red flags and avoid getting caught up in these types of schemes.

Do you know those meetings where they try to convince you to buy a monthly membership? Yeah, those. Well, not only do they try to sell you the membership, but they also show you how to sell memberships to others and make money off of their sales.

Sounds pretty sweet, right? Recurring commissions and passive income are pretty rad because they can help you build a solid financial foundation and give you more time to focus on other things.

But, before we get too excited, let’s talk about why this might actually be a pyramid scheme. In a pyramid scheme, the only way to make money is by getting others to join.

But, in multi-level marketing, recruitment isn’t mandatory – it’s just an extra way to make money.

You can make money by selling actual products from a company.

So, just something to keep in mind before you jump into any membership sales meeting.

If you’re looking for ways to build a solid financial foundation and create passive income streams, there are plenty of legitimate opportunities out there.

It’s important to do your research and make sure you’re getting involved with a reputable company before handing over any money.

Is Prosperity of Life a scam?

No, Prosperity Of Life is not a scam. However, their business model is pretty similar to a pyramid scheme. I’d stay away if I were you.

Personally, I don’t really care if it’s a scam or not, but I wouldn’t recommend getting involved with this company.

The prices of their products are already pretty steep, and that’s before you factor in the extra monthly fees I mentioned.

And let’s be real, with the owner’s past, it’s hard not to be suspicious.

You might be able to make some money, but the high prices will make it tough to make any more sales.

Trust me, stay away from this company. If you’re looking to make some cash, I’d look for your startup capital somewhere else.

Who Founded Prosperity of Life?

Prosperity of Life was founded by husband and wife duo Rachel Krider and Shane Krider.

Below are some of their background information:

Shane Krider

Shane Krider and his wife started Born to Prosper Network, which has become a community of hard-working, self-directed business owners.

Shane Krider

Not only is Shane a millionaire, but he also co-hosts a podcast called Mind Power that helps new entrepreneurs strengthen their philosophical and spiritual perspectives.

But here’s the thing, Shane was also involved in Liberty League International, which was exposed as a pyramid scheme that swindled over $5 million from unsuspecting investors. You can check out what the Federal Trade Commission has to say about it for more information.

So, the big question is, has Shane really turned over a new leaf with Prosperity of Life or is it just more of the same? Only time will tell.

Rachel Krider

Rachel, the wife of Shane Krider, helped start up Prosperity of Life.

Rachel Krider

Along with her husband, she co-hosts a podcast called Mind Power on Born to Prosper.

The podcast is all about giving people hope and inspiration during tough times by talking about business, self-help, and personal growth.

Oh, and fun fact, Rachel is a self-made millionaire who made her fortune at the young age of 34 while working for a multi-level marketing company. Pretty impressive, right?

How does Prosperity of Life help you make money?

Prosperity of Life is a program that offers a range of products and services to help members make money. These include digital products and events and conferences.

After joining, members can promote these products and services to their friends and family and earn commission for their efforts.

However, there is a catch. The first two purchases made by a member will not earn them any commission and must be passed on to their sponsor.

This is done to motivate members to promote and effectively use the program, creating a culture of mentoring.

To qualify for both the M1 and M7 exams, members must take two of the courses via the M7 fast track, which also saves them $625.

Are members getting results?

Are you aware that a majority of people involved in MLM (multi-level marketing) companies end up losing money?

According to How Stuff Works, in a “product-based” pyramid scheme, almost all participants lose money.

So, the chances of achieving financial success with Prosperity of Life are not high.

It’s very likely that over 99% of their members are losing money.

How to join Prosperity of Life?

Now let’s talk about how you can join Prosperity of Life.

Of all the MLM programs I have reviewed, their application process is the most sophisticated.

Unlike most companies, particularly pyramid schemes, which offer free membership and have no strict requirements, this program requires an interview to determine if you are suitable for the job.

Starting with an interview is an unusual process for joining an MLM program.

To apply, you must have a recommendation from another person. If you do not meet these requirements, you cannot participate in the program.

To do so, you must first find a sales video on YouTube advertising the opportunity and then follow the instructions provided by the video’s creator to fill out an application.

How much does it cost?

To “get ahead” after the interview, you need to spend money on a few items:

  1. Registration fee $39.95 per month
  2. Lead manager $29.95 per month
  3. Training portal $33.00 per month
  4. Marketing websites $49.95 per month (Online Business Manager, Lead Vortex Pro, and Conference Call System)

For your business to get started, you will need to pay $153 per month.

Green Lights

1. Potential for income

Prosperity of Life offers their distributors the opportunity to earn commissions on their own sales and on the sales of other distributors they recruit.

2. Flexible working hours

Prosperity of Life allows its distributors to schedule their own work hours and work at their own pace, which can be appealing to those looking for flexible work schedules.

Red Flags

Here are some downsides to Prosperity of Life you should know about before jumping in:

1. Past scams by the owners

Shane Krider has a history of creating MLM programs, and according to an article in the Courthouse News, his previous company, Liberty League, used a pyramid scheme to bring in nearly $5 million. Sure, people can change, but it’s worth being aware of this past before getting involved.

2. The insanely high cost of the events

If you’re looking to invest in your personal growth and change the world, that’s great. But when you compare the cost of Prosperity of Life’s events to those of Tony Robbins and Gary V, it’s pretty steep.

For example, Gary V’s two-day event in London this September is pricey, and Tony Robbins’ Business Mastery event (which is a deep dive into your own business) is less than $5,000, and his Unleash the Power Within event is less than $1,000.

And if you can’t make it to the live events, you can always watch recordings on YouTube. It’s just hard to justify the cost when there are comparable options for less money.

3. It’s expensive to get started

So, to get things rolling, you gotta go through a few steps.

That includes an interview, buying a starter pack and marketing tools (which is gonna run you $49.95 plus $153 a month), buying products (which can range from $2,285 to $33,950), and making at least two sales to “pass up” to your sponsor.

All in all, you’re looking at spending at least $2,438 before you see any cash coming in.

4. Limited options for what you can sell

With Prosperity of Life, you’re stuck selling only their products. So, if you’re looking to branch out and make money selling other stuff, this probably ain’t the program for you.

And, just a heads up, when it comes to making money online, you gotta be careful. Make sure you do your research and find out who the real winners are in this system.

And remember, Ponzi schemes aren’t exactly legal, so keep that in mind too.

5. Paying your sponsor directly

Yo, just a heads up, when you sign up for a class, you’ll be paying your director (the person who introduced you) directly, not the company. It’s a bit strange, but that’s how their commission structure works.

6. Lots of negative comments

Listen, there are a ton of bad comments about Prosperity of Life online. Just check out this one sentence review: “Overall, this review of Prosperity of Life says it all.” Trust me, there are plenty more where that came from.

7. Encouraging people to take on debt

Seriously, it’s crazy that they’re telling normal people to take out a $30,000 loan to pay for their program. There’s no guarantee you’ll make the money back and it’s just not a good idea for most people. Plus, not everyone’s circumstances are the same. Like, think about it, a 21-year-old with no job or kids has more freedom to take risks than a 35-year-old with a full-time job, mortgage, and kids.

Should you join Prosperity of Life?

Want to join this multi-level marketing company? Before you make a decision, let me ask you a quick question. Why join an MLM when there are other business models that are more scalable, sustainable, and long-term?

Let’s be real, MLMs aren’t known for their success rate. In fact, according to my research of over 300 MLM organizations, this industry isn’t looking great in 2023 and beyond.

But, don’t worry! There’s always a better way to do business.

If you’re looking to create the life of your dreams, starting a successful business is the way to go.
