Keysearch Features Review

There are dozens of features in this tool, such as:

  • Keyword Research
  • Backlink Analysis
  • Keyword & SERP Difficulty Checker
  • Keyword Rank Tracking
  • YouTube Keyword Research
  • Competition Analysis
  • Backlink Finder
  • Chrome/Firefox Addon
  • API Access
  • White-Label Reporting
  • and much more

Following are brief descriptions of each feature:

Keyword Research Tool

Keyword research with Keysearch is easy and intuitive. Using the Keyword Research Tool, you can find the best keywords to target.

keysearch review

Keysearch lets you measure the difficulty of a keyword and see which companies are on the first page of search results.

With this tool, you can check the difficulty level of a keyword before deciding whether to target it. This can save you an incredible amount of time and money when writing content.

What I like most about this tool is that it displays all the relevant details about a keyword in one box.

You can also choose from hundreds of suggested keywords:

There are both volume and difficulty indicators for the suggested keywords. When you click on one of the suggested keywords, a full analysis for that keyword is displayed.

The search results table in this tool is also very helpful.

The table contains all the important SEO metrics about the websites that are on the first page that you need to know.

Based on this information, you can quickly see who ranks on which position for which search term.

However, you will not see the titles of the pages that rank for the search term in this table.

You can read the page title either by searching for the keyword in Google or by visiting the URL of the page.

Also, the search engine suggestions are displayed on the search results pages.

Searching for similar things on the Internet will give you an idea of what people are looking for. Be careful not to ignore these suggestions. Long-tail keywords are the ones you should include in your content.

Besides showing the search volume and difficulty of the keyword, you can also export a CSV or PDF file with details about the keyword.

This allows you to get keyword data and suggestions from Google Adwords Keyword Planner, YouTube Suggest, Bing Suggest and other sources.

Have you ever wondered how much traffic a long-tail keyword or a specific keyword gets? Or if you even have a chance to rank for it?

With KeySearch you can find out.

Even better, for a single word you can enter, KeySearch will suggest a list of niche long-tail keywords that might perform even better.

With the Keyword Research in Depth feature, you can also find out the DA values of the highest ranking websites to see if you can outrank them on page 1.

Quick Difficulty Checker Tool

The tool is a great time saver. The tool allows you to check the difficulty and volume of up to 50 keywords at once, instead of checking one keyword at a time.

Moreover, you can export keywords, search volume and other details as CSV files.

Link analysis

Every SEO tool should have a backlink checker as one of its core components. Keysearch has one of the best backlink analysis tools around.

With it, you can check all backlinks to a domain or just to a specific page.

Keysearch can help you determine the quality of the website. When it comes to finding quality sites to get a guest post or link from, this metric is very useful.

Also, you can view the links for the domain or page you are reviewing over the last 12 months. The ranking of a website or domain is determined by how difficult it is to outrank it.

Whenever a page or website has backlinks, Keysearch displays the metrics and details, like Anchor Text, Domain Strength (Keysearch’s own metric), Number of Incoming Links, and whether the link is dofollow.

The criteria can be easily used to filter backlinks, including the number of links, the strength of the domain, the link source and the link type (dofollow or nofollow).

In this tool, you have the option to view 50, 100, 250, 1000 and all backlinks at once. Also, each website or page can be exported with its backlinks.

However, what I do not like about this export feature is that it only exports the backlinks when you view all backlinks in your browser.

Also, this may cause your browser to stop working due to the high memory requirements.

Youtube research

You will love this tool if you are a YouTuber. You can use it to determine which keywords are most relevant to your business and how much competition there is for each keyword.

This tool looks exactly like the Keyword Analysis tool. The tool contains a similar table to the Keyword Analysis tool.

Video age, views, likes, dislikes, comments, and whether the keyword is in the title and description are displayed along with the URLs of the videos.

My only complaint, as with the Keyword Analysis Tool, is that the table does not display the page title along with the URL.

You have to manually search for the keyword on Google, or in this case, open each video individually to check the title.

In this tool, you’ll find a keyword suggestion box similar to the Keyword Analyzer one on the right, with several keywords you might consider.

The YouTube Keyword Research tool also has a quick difficulty checker. You can view the metrics and difficulty of up to 50 keywords at once.

Keyword Rank Tracker Tool

Keysearch’s keyword rank tracking tool can help you determine whether or not your SEO efforts are paying off. By tracking your website’s position for specific keywords, you can see how it fares.

keysearch review

If you are involved in link building campaigns, this is really useful. The tool helps you figure out what SEO tactics work for your industry and website.

If you set up email notifications, you can receive an email when your search engine ranking for a particular keyword changes.

The tool creates a chart with all previous rankings for a keyword added since the day you entered it.

If you do SEO work for clients, this tool is indispensable. You can easily send reports about the effectiveness of your SEO campaigns to your clients.

The user interface of this rank tracking tool is not as intuitive as other tools I have used. However, you will be able to use it without any problems once you know how it works.

Browser addon

With the add-on you can analyze Keyword Difficulty directly in your browser.

When you install the browser extension, you will get the keyword difficulty and search results matrix with important metrics about the pages that appear in the search results.

Such a time saver can be very useful. Google can often give you keyword suggestions that are relevant to your niche.

You can quickly view the quality score and other important metrics without opening your Keysearch account.

Ideally, the extension will also show the search volume of the keywords.

Content Assistant

With this software, Keysearch analyzes your content and suggests improvements based on what other content is ranking on the first page, which I think is a great feature of Keysearch.

After you copy and paste text from one of my posts into the editor, you’ll get a list of keywords you should use (also known as LSI keywords).

Additionally, there are the following cool features:

  • Analyze the word count of your website and see if you are in line with your competitors
  • Topics suggested by Google based on related keywords
  • A list of top URL keywords showing you the keyword that brings the most traffic
  • Content snippets that you can use as inspiration while editing
  • Provide your readers with additional information about your topic by asking questions in your content
  • An analysis of the SERPs with a link to visit the website and a listing of the top pages

Opportunity Finder

This is a brand new feature, but it is a wonderful addition. When you enter a keyword, the tool suggests possible guest posts for you and shows you related forums and blog posts that you can interact with.

If you search for “WordPress” in the guest posts and forums, you’ll get some great results. Even if the blog search did not work, it offers great ideas for getting new backlinks or connecting with potential new readers.

Brainstorm Niche Ideas

KeySearch uses Twitter Trends, Google Trends and Amazon Movers to provide ideas for niches.

There is a listing of different products that sell well in different categories. You can find many useful products in this list if you are an Amazon affiliate or are looking for new products to promote or review on your website.

KeySearch provides suggestions for keywords based on the words you type into the search bar at the top of the screen. In addition to eBay, suggestions are also generated for Yahoo, Google, Bing, Amazon, and YouTube.

When you click on one of the keyword suggestions, you can examine the keyword in more detail and analyze its difficulty level.

Webpage Audit Analyzer

The page analyzer of an SEO tool is an excellent feature. The only thing you need to do is to enter a URL (domain name or article). Keysearch then provides a detailed report with all kinds of SEO elements, mostly on-page, that are either good or bad.

A meta description, title tag, internal link, outbound link, alt attribute, etc. are just a few examples of these elements. At the very bottom you can find the results of Google PageSpeed Insights.

Webpage Audit Analyzer allows you to check if a certain page contains meta keywords. This tool marks a page as red if the meta keywords are not set.

URL Metrics

With URL metrics, you can check up to 20 URLs at once.

It includes all the information you need to know about a URL, including:

  • Page authority and domain authority
  • Domain strength
  • The total number of backlinks, including nofollow and dofollow links
  • Rank on Alexa
  • The number of ranking keywords
  • Traffic estimate for the site.

In this feature, you can see what sites are the most authoritative and have the most traffic, which is very useful when looking for sites to guest post on.

How To Use Keysearch?

Let me show you how to use Keysearch so that you know how much you wil enjoy using this SEO tool.

Analyse Your Site

The first thing you need to know about your site is that you need to start searching for keywords.

A high DA (domain authority) and Keysearch competition score can show you whether you can beat the competition.

Moz‘s Keyword Metrics or Keysearch’s URL Metrics can be used to find your DA.

The Explorer page shows your Keysearch competition score. Additionally, you can find a lot more information about a domain there, such as keywords it ranks for, organic traffic estimates, backlinks, and referring domains.

It’s important to keep in mind that DA and Keysearch competitor score aren’t ranking factors and aren’t taken into account by Google. DA or competition scores can help you outrank sites, but it is easier to target keywords with sites that have a lower DA.

As DA indicates whether you are likely to rank for a particular keyword, it’s worth considering when searching for keywords.

Finding The Perfect Keyword

Now it’s time to come up with a key word. Start by typing in a suggestion. A good example would be to search for “things to do in Tokyo” if you want to write an article about Tokyo.

Keysearch includes several elements, such as the average monthly search volume, the difficulty of the keyword, the trend of the keyword, and a list of alternative keywords. Then you get a list of the ten pages that rank for the search term and a brief overview of those pages.

You will see that “things to do in Tokyo” is a hard keyword to find. However, the difficulty level (47) is very high, despite the good search volume (9900 per month).

It depends entirely on your niche, your domain authority and your authority on this topic whether you can rank for this keyword or not. If you can rank with a low difficulty keyword, you can improve your ranking!

Due to the difficulty of ranking for this keyword, you should consider alternative terms. It can be helpful to use the search term suggestion box on the page (Anime Things to do in Tokyo is much easier to rank for!).

Alternatively, you can do further research. For example, do a search for “Tokyo itinerary.” Even if you cover Tokyo in a slightly different format, you will still cover things to do in Tokyo.

It may also be beneficial to see if variations of this keyword are more relevant. Add variety by telling your audience that Japan is a four-day itinerary or that you are going to Tokyo for four days. Search volume for these terms is much higher each month, and most sites rank for all of them.

You can also find keywords for specific countries if you wish. When you select your country, Keyseach will provide you with the data for it.

1. A powerful SEO tool that offers everything you need

The tool offers more than just keyword research capabilities – it has a variety of features that can improve your blog or website’s SEO.

The following are some of its key features:

  • Keyword Difficulty Checker
  • YouTube Research
  • SEO Competition Analysis
  • Backlink Checker
  • Rank Tracking
  • Brainstorm Niche Ideas
  • Webpage Audit Analyzer
  • Competitive Analysis

Your competition will be outranked to the extent that you get a larger share of the Google traffic pie when you use Keysearch.

2. Keysearch is Affordable

Keysearch is extremely affordable when compared to similar tools in the market. You’ll only need to pay $17 per month to subscribe to their Starter Plan, and you’ll save a lot with their annual plan that’s only $169 per year.

You can also upgrade to Keysearch’s Pro plan in order to access pro features like rank tracking but just to be honest, most bloggers and small businesses will find that it’s more than enough!.

You may want to consider Keysearch as an ahrefs alternative or a SEMrush alternative as it offers similar functionality at an affordable price.

3. Keysearch is Beginner-Friendly

The biggest obstacle bloggers face when it comes to SEO is the perception that it requires a great deal of expertise and mastery.

There are various advanced SEO strategies that only SEO specialists should try, but there are still so many basic SEO tactics that bloggers can use on their own blogs that would dramatically improve their traffic. Keysearch is very easy to use that anyone will know how to use it.

2. Determine the competitiveness of keywords

By going to Keyword Research > Quick Difficulty and entering your keyword, you will be able to see the top 10 rankings in Google for your search term.

5. Find content ideas that will drive traffic

If you enter both your URLs at the menu item Competitive Analysis > Competitor Gap you can get ideas for new content by seeing what your competitors are ranking for and what you’re not.

You can take advantage of this if you know that your competitor isn’t great at SEO, using keywords, or has a low domain authority, so you should be able to beat them if you write on the same topic.

6. Research the competition’s backlinks

By analyzing your competitors’ links, you might be able to find areas where you could also get links. Backlink Checker can be found under Competitio Analysis. Simply enter your competitor’s URL to get started.

7. Track your rankings

Track your keyword rankings easily with the menu item Rank Tracking.

You can enter your blog’s URL and keywords at the same time. If you wish to get rankings for a specific country, you must know what version of Google is used in that country.

Keep in mind that the results of a search are not global – they vary depending on where you are. Therefore, select the country in which your target audience lives the majority of the time.

If you plan to use this keyword across multiple destinations, you can specify each destination separately so that you can track your rankings in these different places. This information can be quite useful.

Keysearch Cons and Complaints

1. Keysearch Cannot Make You Become Rich Quickly

Keysearch doesn’t mean to be a shortcut to make you rich quickly. Keysearch is a tool that can save you a lot of time and effort in doing SEO research.

You cannot expect to make a lot of money immediately after using Keysearch. Because ultimately, it depends on how much time you spend on creating SEO content. Also, you still need to promote your products that meet the needs of people in order to make money.

Is Keysearch a Scam?

Keysearch is certainly not a scam. It’s a legit tool created by a legit company.

A keyword research tool like Keysearch is one of the least expensive options available.

KeySearch is an excellent tool for keyword research that is affordable and easy to use. For those building blogs or niche sites, it’s a good alternative to paid tools like Ahrefs and Moz.

Keysearch Review: Final Verdict

I appreciated Keysearch as a cheaper Ahrefs alternative.

There are dozens of features to choose from. While Ahrefs offers more features, Keysearch is still not a tool to be ignored.

You can use Keysearch, no matter your level of experience or the size of your marketing agency.

Tools like Ahrefs aren’t relevant for individuals who aren’t agencies or companies. Most of the features offered by Ahrefs won’t be useful to you when you’re just starting out.

Keysearch isn’t just another Ahrefs clone; it’s an all-in-one tool that covers all your blogging needs. You can use it to analyze the competition and find easy-to-rank keywords.

I wouldn’t say that Keysearch is a better alternative to Ahrefs, but it is, nevertheless, an alternative that can help your business with SEO.

Bloggers may be able to rank for the most relevant keywords with Keysearch because it is easy to use, affordable, and contains all the details they need to start ranking.

When I started blogging, I wish I knew about Keysearch sooner. It would have made me so much more productive.

If you haven’t tried Keysearch yet, I highly recommend you do so.

You should purchase a month’s subscription to fully test out the tool – you can always upgrade to the annual plan if you like it and save some money.

Keysearch Alternative: Make Passive Income Online

If you don’t have an online business yet, Keysearch may not be very useful for you. So how can you make money online and make good use of Keysearch? I recommend starting an online business today.

As an experienced Internet entrepreneur, I’d say affiliate marketing is the best and the easiest way to make money online.

Why? Because it’s been proven to work for many people and you can do it as a side hustle.

In affiliate marketing, you can run your business almost at zero cost without any trouble from sourcing products or managing inventory.

More importantly, it allows you to enjoy a steady stream of passive income while going on vacation or working a full-time job.

Warren Buffet once said, “If you don’t find a way to make money while you sleep, you will work until you die.”

The easiest way to make money while you sleep is by getting started with affiliate marketing.

And since the world is full of uncertainty, I’d always choose a business model that has the lowest risk.

But How Much Can You Earn in Affiliate Marketing?

A 21-year old student from my #1 recommended training platform of affiliate marketing was able to earn $7,395 in just 1 week, which means he made more than $1k a day…all while using free traffic methods.
