InCruises Review – Scam or Legit MLM? Exposed!

Are you looking for an inCruises review? But you may wonder if it is a scam.

Most likely, a friend or acquaintance encouraged you to join inCruises. They may have also mentioned that it’s a fantastic opportunity to travel the seven seas without spending a dime.

That’s very fascinating to hear.

But you may be thinking now. Can I trust inCruises?

First of all, I commend you for taking the trouble to find out about multi-level marketing companies.

Considering the fact that more than 95% of MLM members do not achieve financial success, you are undoubtedly on the right track. Even more, they actually end up losing money.

This is because they rush headlong into the supposed source of money without first finding out about its legitimacy.

This detailed review shows you exactly what you can expect from inCruises.

As a disclaimer, I’m not affiliated with InCruises. It means I’m not paid to write this review. So you can rest assured that you will get an honest and unbiased review from me.

At the end of this review, I’ll also tell you the best alternative to InCruises that has enabled me to make a full-time passive income online.

What Is InCruises?

If you are a fan of cruising, you’ll find a lot of useful information at InCruises. Because of its membership in CLIA (International Association of Cruise Lines), the organization focuses on the cruise industry.

It all started in 2016 with a small office in California.

InCruises is a tour operator that specializes in cruises.

Anyone interested in a cruise with less hassle and at a lower price, with meals and entertainment provided, can become a member.

They are also eligible for travel discounts!

Plus, you can benefit by recommending others to use Incruises. MSC Cruises, Holland America Line, Carnival and Princess Cruises are just a few of the cruise lines that dock here.

When you sign up with InCruises, you are supposedly eligible for cruise rewards, incentives and discounts. Plus, you can supplement your income with money you earn from other offers.

Who Owns InCruises?

InCruises was founded in 2015 by Michael T. Hutchison and Frank J. Codina, two experienced businessmen.

After graduating from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., Michael worked for Ross Perot’s Electronic Data Systems (EDS)

Tony Robbins’ company hired him as vice president of worldwide sales and marketing (1987-1994).

He is host of the Web show TV credibility LIVE and author of the New York Times bestsellers Speaking Mastery and Stop It! as well as Dun and Bradstreet host of the show.

Mr. Hutchison currently resides in the Puerto Rican capital of San Juan.

Who Is Frank J. Codina?

San Juan, the capital of Puerto Rico, is home to Frank J. Codina.

After graduating, he found work at Primerica, which was acquired by Citigroup.

In Spain, Ireland and the United Kingdom, he helped establish CitiSolutions Financial Limited.

He was a key member of Primerica’s leadership team and was responsible for the company’s IPO on the New York Stock Exchange in 2010 (ticker symbol: PRI).

Frank co-authored the book START NOW! with Dr. Denis Cauvier, with whom he is co-founder and CEO of NEURS LLC.

How Does Incruises Work?

InCruises is an invitation-only MLM that differs from the standard model, where prospects can simply visit the company’s website and sign up themselves.

According to the official Incruises website, there are three ways to sign up as a member:

As A Member

To receive $200 in Cruise Dollars each month, there is a monthly cost of $100. If you invest $100, you will receive 200 Cruise Dollars to use exclusively for cruise reservations.

As A Partner

This method of payment offers dollar-based commissions, bonuses, and other travel-related incentives. The initiation fee is $195.

Other Options

They are assigned a value in cruises dollars. Since then, new member referral benefits have evolved. The last two provide access to materials to help recruit new members.

It is important to remember that the cost of your trip may only represent 60% of your total expenses. Starting in the second year, you have access to 70% of the value until the company pays you the full amount in the fifth year.

The revenue comes mainly from paid memberships.

Even though most multi-level marketing organizations offer free membership, InCruises’ initial partnership fee of $195 is significantly higher than the industry average.

Is inCruises a Pyramid Scheme?

Technically, inCruises is not a pyramid scam.

There is no need to recruit others to take advantage of members-only cruise pricing.

However, it is quite difficult to generate a living income or even cover the costs of recruiting new members and maintaining membership using this method.

That’s why I think inCruises is a “disguised Ponzi scheme,” and I’ll explain why.

What is a pyramid scheme?

A business model where members are paid to recruit new members, not the other way around.

Since members do not earn money until they recruit others, this is frowned upon in many countries.

Nevertheless, inCruises offers a real service in the form of cruise memberships.

But this is the usual approach in multi-level marketing.

It is a “pyramid scam in disguise” because the main goal is to recruit people instead of generating sales.

Can you make money with inCruises?

The answer is yes.

Unfortunately, the amount you expect to earn won’t cover your expenses.

What about this source of passive income?

If I’m being completely honest, the answer is no.

Those who make money with inCruises are extroverts who actively promote their cruise package on social media.

Their entire business model is based on the promise of “becoming your own boss”

Some of the things you need to do are as follows:

  • Share every day inCruises on social media.
  • Post as many messages as you can on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram (it’s really annoying)
  • Tell everyone you meet on Zoom or Skype about the “free cruise” and the “make money” Call your “team” every day and motivate them to sell more and work harder so they can earn more (when in reality you earn more).

The only reason you’d do something like that’s to get a discount on your trip, and I’m sure you agree that it’s not worth it.

What Are Cruise Dollars?

Incruises members can use their Cruise Dollars to purchase cruises on the company’s website.

These points are added to your account without expiration as long as you maintain a monthly subscription. Cruise Dollars can be used for cruise reservations at any time.

Please note that Cruise Dollars are not the official currency of the company and cannot be exchanged for cash. These credits can only be used for a discount on future cruise reservations.

Success is Rare with inCruises

The truth is that making money in multi-level marketing is a real challenge. In fact, studies show that between 72.5 percent and 99.9 percent of MLM distributors are financially unsuccessful.

This is also true for inCruises, which is why I don’t believe it’s a reliable way to supplement your income.

It’s true that virtually everyone who joins a multi-level marketing company ends up broke.

How Does The Incruises Club Service Work?

Although InCruises does not offer free trips, the company does offer discounts on future trips in exchange for an upfront payment.

The organization has sufficient funds each month from membership dues and subscription sales by current members.

The first three months are useless because then users have to pay and purchase tokens and fees.

Since they can not access it for the first three months, they set aside $300 ($100 per month) as an initial investment. 60% of $2,400 is $1,440.

Although you can spend the entire amount before you turn five, the percentage increases each year until it reaches 100% in the fifth year.

One strategy to reach 100% in the first year is to refer five friends and require them to continue using the platform for at least the first three months.

If a user succeeds in getting others to join the site, they can receive a monthly bonus of up to $150.

The company’s idea is this: the more people you recruit, the more money you can save, the more free trips you can take, and the more money you can earn through paid travel.

inCruises products

You should learn more about inCruises and similar multi-level marketing companies if you are really considering joining one.

There is only one product that inCruises offers, and that is the cruise subscription.

Cruise Membership ($100)

For every person you bring into the MLM, you get a discount on your cruise. You can join for $100 and receive $200 in Cruise Dollars (which I will explain in a minute).

You can use your membership one of two ways:

  • Dream Cruise – You can use Cruise Dollars to buy an Executive Dream Cruise ticket (points you get when you are recruited).
  • Global Destination Cruise – Pay for the cruise package with 50% of your Cruise Collars.

Each of them claims to be the only one of its kind. But in truth, they all offer essentially the same product.

How Much Does It Cost To Join incruises?

There is a $100 joining fee. That is not a lot of money.

So how about I tell you that this is a recurring monthly expense?

However, for your $100 monthly membership fee, you will receive $200 in Cruise Dollars. The points you accumulate are called “Cruise Dollars”, which sounds much classier.

These points can then be redeemed for savings on future cruise bookings. To maintain your membership and continue to have access to the video lessons, you must pay $95 each year.

Is inCruises a Scam?

I cannot say inCruises is a scam.

They are paid exactly as promised, and the memberships are legitimate.

A major problem is that potential members join without first fully understanding the nature of the MLM being advertised.

InCruises Compensation Plan

Under the InCruises program, there are nine levels of affiliates.

Affiliate Levels And Their Qualifying Criteria

  • Sign up as an affiliate and pay InCruises’ affiliate fee.
  • Marketing Manager – sell $3000 in downline travel memberships each month
  • Senior Marketing Manager – sell $10,000 worth of downline travel memberships each month as a Senior Marketing Manager.
  • Marketing Director – sell $25,000 worth of downline travel memberships each month

  • International Director – Sell $300,000 worth of downline travel memberships each month.
  • Executive Director – Sell $500,000 worth of downline travel memberships each month.

When an affiliate recruits another affiliate who then purchases a subscription from InCruises, the recruiter receives a commission.

The total monthly number of recruited affiliates determines the affiliate commission.

Monthly Commission

Instant payout bonuses for recruiting new affiliates can range from $50 to $150, with the first affiliate you recruit receiving $50.

  • $60 when you recruit your second affiliate.
  • $70 when you recruit your third affiliate.
  • $80 when you recruit your fourth affiliate.
  • $90 when you recruit your fifth affiliate.
  • $100 when you recruit your sixth affiliate.
  • $110 when you recruit your seventh affiliate.
  • $120 when you recruit your eighth affiliate.
  • $150 when you recruit your tenth affiliate (and every affiliate after that)

New recruit commissions reset to $50 at the end of the month.

Bonus for the Producer

If an InCruises affiliate sells three vacation memberships to people who’re not already affiliates, they’ll receive $100 in Cruise Dollars.

Residual Commissions

Recurring commissions at InCruises are paid out through a flat, single-tier compensation structure.

A partner sits at the top of a single-tier team, and each new partner recruited is placed directly behind him or her on the same tier.

Level 1 partners who recruit new partners at any level are placed on the recruiting partner’s Level 2 team.

Level 2 partners are automatically promoted to Level 3 when they recruit new partners, and so on indefinitely.

InCruises can only pay out five Unilevel levels, with a flat commission of $5 per month for each travel subscription sold that remains within the Unilevel team.

The purchase of travel service subscriptions by partners and end users is covered.

An InCruises affiliate can earn residual payments by selling and actively holding five travel memberships (retail or affiliate) and personally recruiting at least one additional affiliate.

Bonus for Rank Achievement

If an employee reaches the required monthly leadership bonus, InCruises will pay it as indicated below.

  • $500 for a marketing manager
  • Marketing Director – $2500
  • Senior Marketing Manager – $1000
  • $5000 for a Senior Marketing Director
  • Regional Director – $10,000 a month
  • National Director – $20,000 a month
  • International Director – $30,000 a month, plus a Rolex watch (one-time)
  • $55,000 for Executive Director

Bonus Pool

Each month, “qualified executives” at InCruises receive a salary equal to five percent of the company’s gross sales.

InCruises’ compensation structure does not specify any requirements for “qualified executives.”

Travel Benefits

A new InCruises partner can receive a “50% off” voucher for a “Company Sponsored Dream Cruise” if they recruit seven new partners who also sign up for a travel membership within the first 60 days of joining.

If a new partner recruits 14 travel subscription partners within 60 days of joining, they will receive a free Dream Cruise reservation for two.

Positive Reviews About InCruises

Here are some examples of the great feedback we have received about the position on TrustPilot:

  • “I not only get to go on cruise holidays at great pricing, but I also get paid to do so.”
  • “The compensation plan they offer is quite good, and the fact that we can fly anywhere at such a low cost is so excellent that if I have to share it for free, my eyes will close. The best company ever is Incruises for Good.”

Negative Reviews About InCruises

  • “I was asked to erase my review from this firm as well as my BBB review in order to preserve my membership and avoid being canceled, and I am inundated with emails over Thier allegations of defamation and erroneous information.”
  • “Your account is closed after 12 months of inactivity, and your Cruise Credits expire and are forfeited.”

Pros of inCruises

1. Unique offerings

I like inCruises because it’s not like other multi-level marketing companies that focus primarily on selling health and wellness products.

Given the relative lack of comparable offerings, I see this as a big advantage for them.

Most multi-level marketing companies are in the cosmetics or health and wellness business.

Since there aren’t many comparable companies, this is an advantage for inCruises.

2. Easy Cancellation

Have you’d enough of inCruises? In any case, you shouldn’t worry.

You can cancel your membership at any time.

Costs nothing and causes no inconvenience.

Cons of inCruises

1. Expensive membership

Overpriced products are a telltale sign that an MLM is really a disguised Ponzi scheme. The annual cost of membership to inCruises is $100.

That’s not much, is it?

However, you must maintain the monthly payment of $100. In addition, there is an annual fee of $95.

Paying a one-time fee is OK, but what if it has to be paid every month?

2. Limited offerings

Customers demand more attractiveness from inCruises.

It’s not a good idea to offer only one service (membership), as this limits your ability to reach potential customers.

If you’re interested in staying with the company for the long term, this isn’t encouraging news, as the organisation’s business method isn’t sustainable.

3. Cruising isn’t for everyone

Despite its popularity, not everyone wants to take a cruise or spend their vacation money on one.

A cruise is just one of many possible vacation options.

Since your customer base is limited, selling cruise memberships will be a tough sell.

4. A pyramid scheme in disguise

You read that correctly.

As a “disguised Ponzi scheme,” inCruises is not what it seems.

First of all, recruiting new members is essential if you do not want to go bankrupt.

Second, you tell your new recruits to recruit more recruits, and then more recruits.

This is the fate of every multi-level marketing company.

InCruises Review: Final Verdict

You are free to decide whether or not to join InCruises.

If you want to take a cruise, why do you have to pay a hundred dollars a month for five years? If you check cruise prices regularly, you will always find days with low costs. This way, you can avoid financial pitfalls.

It’s also a risk to become one of the partners. This is because the compensation structure resembles a pyramid scam.

Perhaps InCruises no longer feels the need to disclose its financial disclosure, as the site has been redirected to a page where testimonials from affiliates are presented.

It is safe to assume that well over ninety percent of all affiliates who pay membership and startup fees will end up with a negative return on investment. Even though a minority of affiliates – less than 1 percent – bring in the bulk of the money.
