What is HighStrike Trading?
According to their website, HighStrike Trading is the leading trading education platform used by thousands of traders worldwide. They have educated over 6,400 students from 140 countries to date.
HighStrike Trading offers two products: the HighStrike Trading School and the HighStrike Signals. Both products focus on stock trading education, but they function differently.
The HighStrike Trading School is an online course that teaches complete beginners how to do stock trading from the ground up. However, they also claim that even advanced traders can benefit from the material.
On the other hand, the HighStrike Signals is a stock market alert service that guides traders on when and where to enter their trades, claiming that it can help you increase your profits.
But keep in mind that stock trading can be quite risky, especially in day trading where everything happens so fast that you may not have enough time to react. It’s essential to be careful and do your research before investing any money.
Remember, there’s no guarantee that any stock trading system or course will help you make consistent profits.
Who are the Instructors of High Strike Trading?
If you’re interested in learning about trading, HighStrike Trading has a team of four instructors who can help you. They are Clayton Bell, Ben Zogby, Alex Viscusi, and Ben Chaffee.
Ben Zogby is the founder and head instructor of HighStrike Trading. He’s the main instructor who oversees everything and is always ready to help students.
The other three instructors have a special role to play in assisting students in their trading journey. Clayton Bell manages the HighStrike Signals Discord chat, where students can discuss and learn trading strategies. Alex Viscusi manages the HighStrike Slack group chat, where students can ask questions and interact with other traders.
Ben Chaffee is an in-house trading expert on trading, and he still has a full-time job as an engineer. He’s passionate about trading and always willing to share his knowledge and experience with students.
How Is The Training Structured?
Let’s take a closer look at how the HighStrike Trading training is structured.
Module 1: Setting Up Your Success
The first module will walk you through setting up your trading account and platform. The lessons are tailored to TD Ameritrade and TradingView, but you can still learn a lot even if you’re using different tools. This module covers the basics, such as funding your trades and getting to know the platform.
Module 2: The Technical Analysis Blueprint
The second module covers technical analysis, which is essential to trading stocks successfully. You’ll learn how to read charts and patterns, figure out the value of a stock, plan your trades, and use various trading strategies. You’ll also get familiar with technical indicators, such as moving averages and relative strength index.
Module 3: The A-Z Options Roadmap
This module will teach you about trading options. You’ll learn the basics of options, understand buyers and sellers, and find out which stocks are good for options trading. You’ll also get to know option value changes, the Greeks, and variables like implied volatility and time decay.
Module 4: The Advanced Strategies Toolkit
In this module, you’ll learn some advanced trading techniques that can help you take your trading to the next level. You’ll study advanced candle patterns, how news can affect stock prices, and various trade strategies.
Module 5: Case Studies And Live Trade Library
The fifth module showcases some of the trading strategies taught in the previous modules. You’ll see real-life examples of how these strategies are applied and how they work in practice.
The HighStrike Trading School also offers bonus training videos, including lessons on using the FinViz stock screener, live trading videos, swing trade breakdowns, and more. There’s also an old lesson archive that can serve as a useful trading reference.
How Much Does HighStrike Trading Cost?
HighStrike Trading School will cost you a one-time payment of approximately $397. Additionally, to join HighStrike Signals, you’ll need to pay around $97 per month to keep using the service continuously.
Comparing it to other stock market trading courses like True Trader, the cost is roughly the same and is even considered more affordable than some.
However, before you enroll and pay for the course, it’s essential to determine if stock market trading is the side hustle you want to pursue. Make sure to evaluate if it aligns with your interests, goals, and financial capabilities before investing in any trading course.
The course offered by HighStrike Trading is hosted on the Teachable platform, which has its own refund policy. According to Teachable’s terms, students are eligible for a refund within 30 days of purchasing the course.
If a student is not satisfied with the course during this period, they can request a refund. HighStrike Trading will assist the student in processing their refund.

HighStrike Trading comes highly recommended by other beginners in stock trading, with several people on various forums, such as Reddit, vouching for the course. This is a great indication that the course is effective and helpful.
Basic and Advanced Trading Strategies
The course primarily focuses on the basic knowledge of stock trading, making it perfect for beginners. However, it also includes a few advanced trading strategies, which can be rather helpful in the long run. By combining basic and advanced strategies, you can gain a better understanding of how the stock market works and how to make the most of it.
HighStrike Signal Service

Criticisms Of HighStrike Trading
Limited Value for Advanced Users
Despite HighStrike Trading course’s claim that it’s suitable for advanced users, it’s unlikely that you’ll learn anything new from this course. Most of the information provided in the course is quite basic and can be found in other free resources online.
HighStrike Trading course covers the fundamentals of stock trading, such as technical analysis, chart reading, and risk management. However, if you’re an experienced trader, you might find the course lacking in-depth insights into these topics.
Other Free Resources Available
While HighStrike Trading course can be helpful for beginners, it’s not a must-have course. You can find similar information on stock trading in other free resources online. Therefore, it might not be worth paying for the course if you’re looking for advanced insights into stock trading.
Is HighStrike Trading a Scam or Legit?
I can’t give you a definite answer. But there are a few things you should consider before investing your time and money.
One of the concerns is the creator of HighStrike, Ben Zogby. It’s true that he made most of his money from the platform and not from actual trading. Additionally, he launched HighStrike when he was only 23 years old and still had a full-time job. This could raise doubts about his level of experience and expertise in trading.
However, it’s worth noting that launching a successful business at a young age is not impossible. Many successful entrepreneurs have started their businesses while still in their early twenties. It’s also possible that Ben gained valuable trading knowledge and skills over time, which he used to develop HighStrike.
In summary, whether or not HighStrike Trading is a scam or legit is uncertain. It’s important to do your own research, read reviews, and carefully consider your options before investing your money. As with any investment, there are risks involved, so it’s essential to be cautious and make informed decisions.
Should You Join HighStrike Trading?
While it may seem like a good investment, I don’t think HighStrike Trading is worth the price. There are plenty of free resources available that offer the same kind of training.
Furthermore, stock trading, especially day trading, is highly unreliable as a side hustle. Even if you invest a little bit of money, it still requires a significant amount of investment to see any significant returns. And even then, there is no guarantee that you will make a profit.
While it’s true that you can start investing in stocks with just a single dollar, you won’t be able to earn much from it. The stock market is highly volatile, and you could potentially lose all of your investment in a single day.
I have my own doubts about whether the four mentors featured in this course actually got rich from stock trading. It’s possible that they may have become wealthy by selling HighStrike Trading to users instead.
In conclusion, I don’t think HighStrike Trading is worth the investment. There are plenty of free resources available that offer the same kind of training, and stock trading is highly unreliable as a side hustle.
Is there a better way to make money online?
Although trading is one of the most popular ways to grow your wealth and give you some passive income, the financial market is unpredictable.
Even if you have the tips or insights from HighStrike Trading, it doesn’t guarantee you will win in the market.
Only God knows when the stock price will rise or plunge. You may be able to make some money in a few attempts, but lose it all in the other attempts.
So if you really want to make a stable and secure stream of passive income, I would suggest you start an affiliate marketing business online instead.
Affiliate marketing is perfect for anyone who is new to online business.
In fact, of all the online business models I’ve tried, affiliate marketing is the easiest and most rewarding so far.
In affiliate marketing, you can actually run your business almost with zero cost and achieve a steady and sustainable passive income to pay for your bills. You don’t need any initial capital and can even do it as a side hustle.
And if you really want to learn affiliate marketing and build a business from scratch, I’d recommend you to get started with the most reputable platform for affiliate marketing: Wealthy Affiliate.
Wealthy Affiliate is an all-in-one platform for building your affiliate marketing business from scratch. It offers you a free account (including a free website) with comprehensive training on SEO (free traffic methods), which enables you to get started with affiliate marketing right away without paying a penny.
But How Much Can You Earn with Wealthy Affiliate?
A 21-year old student from Wealthy Affiliate was able to earn $7,395 in just 1 week, which means he made more than $1k a day…all while using free traffic methods.
