Early Life

Hannah Bronfman was born in Manhattan, New York City on October 26, 1987 to Edgar Bronfman Jr. and Sherry Brewer. Her Jewish father is a former CEO of Warner Music Group, and her black mother is an actress. She has one brother, Benjamin, and two sisters, Vanessa and Bettina.

Her brother is a musician and entrepreneur who has collaborated with Kanye West. Her paternal grandmother, Ann Loeb Bronfman, is a member of the Lehman family.

She attended Bard College and graduated in 2010 with a degree in sculpture.

Hannah Bronfman began her career as an intern for Michael Kors, a clothing, handbags, and accessories retailer, when she was 15 years old. According to her, she was addicted to beauty products and music from a young age and decided to make a career out of it.

She worked as a disc jockey and a model in her early career. Then, in 2013, she co-founded the mobile app ‘Beautified,’ with Annie Evans and Peter Hananel, to provide a new way to book last-minute beauty and wellness appointments in New York City.

They raised $1.2 million in seed funding in August 2014 and expanded service to Los Angeles and San Francisco. The app was also updated in a variety of ways, and a fitness component was added due to popular demand.

In late 2014, she and her friend Evans sued Hananel for keeping them out of the app’s management, depriving them of information in the computer system and bank account, using poor judgment, mistreating employees, and failing as a fundraiser.

She later launched her own blogging website, ‘HBFIT,’ where she writes about health, beauty, and fitness and frequently collaborates with experts in the field.

She is also the author of a health and wellness book titled Do What Feels Good.

Relationship with Brendan Fallis

Hannah Bronfman met Canadian-born New York City DJ and Theophilus London manager Brendan Fallis at a nightclub pop-up called Le Baron during Art Basel in Miami in 2011. Hannah, who had broken up with her ex-boyfriend two weeks before, was persuaded by her friends to go on a girls’ trip to Miami.

They were introduced by a mutual friend and talked for hours, mostly about his father’s cancer, while drunk. It was already 4:30 a.m. when they realized they were having an awkward conversation as strangers, and Hannah realized she had misplaced her phone. Brendan discovered his iPhone was missing while searching for her phone.

While they parted ways that night in disappointment, they reconnected the next day at the SoHo House. They had a wonderful night together this time, and he accompanied her to the luxury hotel Fontainebleau, where she was staying.

After spending some time sitting on the hotel steps, they decided to watch the sunrise at the beach, where they promptly fell asleep.

Furthermore, upon awakening, unable to share their enthusiasm for health and wellness, they both expressed disgust at the number of fitness freaks crowding the beach. She ended up staying an extra day, spending it with Brendan and his friend. She didn’t get a new phone for three months to avoid being tracked, but she met with him on a regular basis via email to make plans.

They eventually discovered their fitness passion after returning to New York. They bought an apartment together in November 2014 and got engaged the following August 17.

They married on May 20, 2017 in Marrakesh, Morocco, during a four-day weekend wedding ceremony in which she wore seven different dresses. Several high-profile bloggers attended the wedding.
