What is Flash Rewards?
New York is the home of the Flash Rewards cashback rewards program. Matthew Conlin founded the company, which is now managed by Reward Zone USA.
He also helped found Fluent Inc. and is currently the company’s chief customer officer.
Flash Rewards (and its sister sites UpLevel Rewards, Rewards Giant and GetCash22) are cashback services that pay you for purchases and participation in free trials, similar to Mr. Rebates.
The main difference is that Mr. Rebates gives you cash back when you buy tangible things from various brands and stores. In contrast, Flash Rewards gives you cash back when you sign up for services like Uber, take advantage of offers, play games, or sign up for services.
Note that promotions or offers for a $750 Shin card, a $750 Amazon card, or a $750 Walmart, eBay, etc. Card are not giveaways.
Rather, they are monetary incentives for certain actions.
The legitimacy of Flash Rewards, as well as its many offers and tasks, will be discussed below. But before we get to that, let me explain how this thing works.
What makes Mr. Rebates special is that it offers discounts on actual purchases at a variety of well-known brands and stores.
On the other hand, Flash Rewards pays you back for things like signing up for Uber and other services, as well as for things like subscribing to magazines, completing offers, and playing games.
Realise that advertisements or offers for a $750 Shin card, a $750 Amazon card, or a $750 Walmart, eBay, etc. Card are not giveaways.
Rather, they are monetary incentives for a specific activity.
The legitimacy of Flash Rewards and the numerous offers and tasks are discussed below. But before we get to that, let me explain how this thing works.
Important details about how your data may be shared and/or sold are listed here. It also explains what kind of data may be collected, such as
- Marital status
- Home or auto ownership
- Health-related issues
- Political affiliation
You can still skip to this step and decide to skip certain surveys if you change your mind about disclosing your data later.

How Do You Earn Money From Flash Rewards?
By participating in games, subscribing to services, downloading apps, and other activities, users can earn points toward prizes. There may be tasks that don’t allow free trials, as some of the partners require payment for each product or service provided.
The offers and tasks are sorted by difficulty, so you can make a choice. Downloading and playing games, subscribing to a service, etc. fall under this category.
For example, at the reward level 2 you can earn $5. To receive the reward, you need to complete a total of two transactions.
When you receive a confirmation email or a screenshot of your progress or completion, keep both for your records. When you claim your bonus, you may need to present it.
A sign-up incentive would have been a nice touch for Flash Rewards, as it would have allowed for a quicker entry into rewards. There are plenty of other apps that do this, and we’ve compiled a list of some of the best apps below.
How Long Does It Take To Earn Money?
Those who use Flash Rewards have 60 days to meet their goals. Your rewards may not be credited to your account for up to 14 days after successful completion.
There is also a limit on the number of times you can redeem.
For example, if you have already claimed a prize of $500 or less within the last 60 days, you are not eligible to do so again. Once per calendar year, you can make a claim to receive your $750 or $1,000 award. Until this period has elapsed, you are not eligible to receive your award again.

Flash Rewards Requirements
- The Reward Program is open to all U.S. citizens over the age of 18.
- Registration requires your full name, a valid phone number, and an email address.
- After completing your first deal, you must complete the required number of deals for each level within sixty days. These bargains often come with a cost.
- You must complete the price request process once you have met the requirements for the number and level of deals. Your price is subject to review by ID.
Those who don’t meet the requirements can still receive money for taking surveys and responding to emails by using services like Survey Junkie and Inbox Dollars.
However, if you’re looking for a way to make money on the side, an online business is another viable option.
You may be stuck at home taking care of the kids or struggling with health issues. Or maybe you’re just tired of your current position.
In this case, if you want to earn a living exclusively online, you need to have an idea of how to get started.
How Do Cashback and Giveaway Sites Make Money?
Just so you know how these websites make money before I go into the details of what they offer. You need to be aware that the money has to be generated in some way.
In other words, if you want to get paid by a rewards site, the site itself has to be profitable. And that means spending on behalf of a specific entity.
Like other sites of its kind, Flash Rewards relies on its members to maximize their savings and spend more than necessary to earn their rewards.
Someone might sign up for a subscription with the intention of canceling it later, but they like it and keep paying for it. Flash Rewards would receive a share of the monthly fees collected over a long period of time.
Another example is extending participation in a game beyond the contract period. You may want to invest real money in additional game features and fancy cosmetics for your avatar.
When you make a purchase through Flash Rewards, we receive a small commission. Affiliate marketing commissions and cost-per-action fees are how they get paid (CPA) for bringing in new customers (you).
Most people sign up for “free” trials or one-month subscriptions with the intention of canceling before they are charged more.
Yet many trial and subscription customers fail to properly cancel their accounts. As a result, companies like Flash Rewards may pay their users.
Of course, there is another method some websites use to generate revenue.
Unqualified members add significantly to their profits. There are a number of possible reasons for this, and this is one of the main reasons why people have a negative impression of rewards-based websites.
Possible reasons for a subscriber’s ineligibility include
- They perform a few transactions before getting bored and giving up.
- Life gets in the way, and they forget to move on. By the time they come to their senses, the deadline has passed.
- I quit because I’m frustrated. For example, it might take longer than expected.
- submitting the wrong paperwork
- Incorrectly counting or completing the number of business stages.
It is common for the reward side to face accusations of arbitrarily rejecting members and denying them payment when a member is disqualified for a mistake. This is the unfortunate reality of some sites.
This is the accusation made in complaints posted online against Flash Reward’s parent company, Reward Zone. It is also likely that Flash Rewards is to blame in some cases, but that can never be confirmed.
I am not going to defend Flash Rewards or Reward Zone because I have nothing to gain from it (I am not an affiliate), but I also have not seen any evidence that it’s a scam.
However, I can sympathize with the plight of the participants and cannot dismiss their concerns as unfounded. To put it bluntly, I have no idea, and lacking hard data, it is not my position to make assumptions.
There are reward sites that pay you for individual activities rather than for completing a series of activities, such as e-Rewards, Branded Surveys, Pinecone Research, and various pay-to-click sites. Although they experience the same disappointments, they have their own unique challenges.
If it only happens once or twice during a series of tasks, it’s easier to get over it and move on.
However, the pain is even greater when it happens after months of spending money on dozens of tasks.
Reward and cashback services ultimately need to generate more money through affiliate commissions, lead generation, and other sources than they owe their users in reward money. Some people succeed at this better than others.

What are Flash Reward Deals?
You will receive your reward after you reach a certain number of completed contracts. In this category of offers you will find apps that ask for money in exchange for features or access.
Buying an AARP membership is a good example of a bargain.
There are many others, such as
- Purchase three Disney Movie Club titles.
- Make a donation to Feeding America.
- Join Hulu, Disney Plus, Apple TV, and more services.
- Use Restaurant.com surveys.
- Play Bingo Blackout, Mahjong+, or Solitaire Cube to accomplish certain goals.
- Create a Western Union App account.
More than three hundred and fifty different business options are available to you.

How Does Flash Rewards Work?
Before we go into the specifics of each incentive, we must note that there are two different types of incentives:
- Tier 1: reward worth £100 or less – You need to complete 4 offers.
- Tier 2: reward worth than £100 – You need to complete more than 10 offers.
First, you will be asked to fill out a short form with your name, mailing address, phone number(s) and other contact information.
When you sign up for Flash Rewards, you will be asked for your permission to share your information with outside marketing partners. The good news is that you do not have to check this box to continue.
After that, they will ask more demographic and personal data based questions to determine what kind of offers they can make you.
From here on out, the good times can finally begin! Do not proceed to the next session until you have completed 1 offer on the following page. Review the terms and conditions of the available offers, select the one that best suits your needs, and then click the “Request Quote” button.
The three types of offers are as follows:
- Free Offers – All you need to do is sign up and submit your information to other companies.
- Purchase offers – They will require a deposit or purchase of a product or service from you.
- Subscription offers – You have no choice but to pay a monthly subscription fee to get access to premium content.
Please note that you have 20 days from the day you complete your first offer to complete all offers.
How Many Deals Do You Need to Do?
Different levels and discounts have corresponding prices. There are also multiple tiers for different types of transactions.
An explanation of this can be found below:
- $5 Reward – Level 2: 2 Deals – one level 1 deal and one level 2 deal.
- $100 Reward – Level 3: 5 Deals – one level 1 deal, one level 2 deal, and three level 3 deals.
- $250 Reward – Level 4: 10 Deals – one level 1 deal, one level 2 deal, three level 3 deal, and five level 4 deals.
- $500 Reward – Level 5: 15 Deals – one level 1 deal, one level 2 deal, three level 3 deals, five level 4 deals, and five level 5 deals.
- $750 Reward – Level 5: 20 Deals – one level 1 deal, one level 2 deal, three level 3 deals, five level 4 deals, and five level 5 deals.
- $1000 Reward – Level 5: 25 Deals – one level 1 deal, one level 2 deal, three level 3 deals, five level 4 deals, and fifteen level 5 deals.
You can clearly see that there is a tier system for all trades. The number of deals you make is not the only factor. If you achieve the required number of deals but the wrong level, you may not receive your award.
Flash Rewards Payments
Credit cards, debit cards and prepaid cards are all accepted. The value of your rewards increases proportionally with the number of successfully completed deals and the level you reach.
When you reach the minimum number and quality of transactions, you can claim the reward. A valid government-issued photo ID is required.
Online surveys are another option if you’re afraid to share personal information online. Sites like Survey Junkie and Inbox Dollars are easy, free, and pay you to take online surveys.
For those looking for a sustainable way to make a living, an online business could be the answer.
You may not be able to find work due to personal obligations, such as caring for children or health problems. It may also be your current job that you hate so much.
In this case, if you want to earn a living exclusively online, you need to have an idea of how to get started.

Is Flash Rewards a Scam or Legit?
Since Flash Rewards seems to promise so much, it’s only natural to be suspicious of the service.
While most cashback programs only offer you 1% to 15%, Flash Rewards gives you much more. Above, I’ve explained the financial model that allows sites like Flash Rewards to operate, but it’s wise to maintain a healthy dose of skepticism.
Flash Rewards is a legitimate option in this case.
The maximum payout is $1,000, which can be one hundred percent (100%) or more of what you actually spend on deals. This, of course, depends on the type and amount of business you do.
However, a 100% return is much higher than the 1% to 15% you might earn on a site like Rakuten.
The suspicion arises that this offer is too good to be true. Free money, so to speak.
Since not everyone is eligible for Flash Rewards, the program is able to offer a high return on investment (ROI). This could be because you misunderstood the requirements or didn’t provide enough evidence to complete the transaction.
The problem is that some players will swear they did everything necessary to win, while Flash Rewards insists they didn’t. Which side is right?
There may be intentional misrepresentation on both sides, or it may simply be an honest misunderstanding.
Regardless of what the allegations may imply, I see no wrongdoing on this side. So far, there is no solid evidence to support this claim.
As I said, the main company, Reward Zone USA, was founded in 2011 and is based in New York.
What’s the deal with that?
There is no need to register as a legal business, although reward schemes can run for years when it comes to scamming people. Especially in the United States.
Fake reward sites need nothing more than a domain name and some content to deceive their customers. Moreover, the possession of a specific person is not required.
They are usually created by unknown people in a place where the police cannot find them. Cash and Go is a good example of this type of services. Usually, such websites exist for only one year before they disappear.
In this case, things are different.
Flash Reward’s parent company has prevailed in U.S. courts and is duly registered there.
In Alvord v. Fluent Inc, the Utah plaintiffs alleged that the defendants violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act by sending them unsolicited commercial text messages from Reward Zone USA, LLC, a subsidiary of Fluent Inc.
The court ruled in their favor.
It’s just my opinion, but I do not think their telemarketing approach is the best. It is possible that you are doing the same. In any case, the fact that they went to court and won should serve as a warning sign that this is a legitimate business.
But that’s not all; it goes even further.
Reward Zone USA is a publicly traded company with an estimated value of $100 million and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluent, Inc. Matthew Conlin is responsible for the creation of both Fluent, Inc. and Reward Zone, Inc. (the parent company of Flash Rewards).
Only you can judge whether or not Flash Rewards’ service meets your needs. However, the company itself is reputable.

Flash Rewards Reviews and Complaints
Popular review platforms like Trustpilot and Facebook feature both positive and negative feedback about Flash Rewards.
Among the many encouraging responses, we’ve…
- The greatest thing of all. You just have to take the necessary time and complete the task on time.
- After completing the business, I received my $100 gift card to Walmart today.
- After about three weeks, I was able to cash out a $500 Visa gift card.
- In one week, I completed deals/tests/subscriptions, spent $48 and received a $750 gift card.
Let’s balance the scales by looking at some criticisms from other reviewers…
- In the end, the payout is significantly reduced.
- I have yet to receive a response from them that would have been resolved.
- Overall, more work than was required.
- I did everything they asked of me and nothing else. When I was contacted, they claimed I had only done one transaction.
While I have seen more positive reviews and fewer complaints on several other reward sites, the number of negative reviews and complaints is still significant.
It is encouraging to see that Flash Rewards is responsive to most comments and concerns.
Pros of Flash Rewards
- There are numerous discounts and offers, and some of them might be of interest to you, even if there are no premium incentives.
- An easy way to earn money if you follow the instructions carefully and read the fine print. You should also feel comfortable sharing personal information online.
- Compared to other reward and survey sites, the payouts are relatively high.
Cons of Flash Rewards
- The parent company (Reward Zone) has received numerous complaints from the Better Business Bureau (to be fair, many have been resolved).
- The qualifications are strict. There doesn’t seem to be much wiggle room if you submit something improperly or make a mistake.
- It’s not a good idea to share your state ID and other personal information online with someone you don’t know.
Flash Rewards Review: Final Verdict
It would be good to make some money online by doing something simple. I understand how you feel, and I know many people who can relate. Almost everyone wishes to have more money.
The question is whether earning it through Flash Rewards is the best way to go. It depends on your circumstances.
Even when dealing with government regulated companies like financial institutions, I am hesitant to share this information online. So when it comes to reward sites, I definitely do not feel comfortable doing that.
But that does not mean Flash Rewards is not for you. Do not let my opinion stop you from working to support yourself and your family.
I can only recommend that you do your research thoroughly (which you are already doing by reading this review) and be cautious. You are under no obligation to continue if something does not feel right.
Participate in deals you would have made anyway, even if there are no rewards associated with them. That way, you are not completely off the hook if there are payment problems for some reason. You’ll still get what you wanted.
If for some reason you do not qualify for Flash Rewards, there are other ways to earn money online.
Maybe you are a student or a single parent. Or you have health problems that make it difficult to work.
If that’s the case, you should start an Internet business. Let me tell you more in the next section.
