John David Jackson, who is now known as Fabolous, was born in New York City on November 18, 1977. He comes from both the Dominican Republic and the United States.

When he was still in high school, he started making hip hop music. DJ Clue, an American record producer, asked him to rap on a music show. Later, he also played on the radio station “Hot 97” in New York City. DJ Clue eventually signed him to his record label, “Desert Storm Records.” After that, he was on several mixtapes from that label.

Music Career

Fabolous’s first album, “Ghetto Fabolous,” came out on September 11, 2001. The album did well in the market, selling 140,000 copies in its first week. It also started out on the US Billboard 200 at number four. It had two hit singles: “Can’t Deny It,” which peaked at number 25 on the US Hot 100, and “Young’n,” which peaked at number 33.
