DJ Snake was born on June 13, 1986, in the Parisian suburb of Ermont to Algerian immigrants. Snake, who considered his childhood neighborhood to be a slum, dropped out of school at the age of 15 to work in a well-known record store in Paris.
DJ Snake, who cites Cypress Hill and KRS-One as early influences, was heavily involved in graffiti art as a child.
