McKinney’s Towne Lake Recreation Area is a lovely public park. There are 108 acres of parkland on the property. Horseshoe pits, sand volleyball courts, two playgrounds, a concession stand, paddleboats, and an 18-hole disc golf course are all available. 

Picnic areas with electrical outlets are also available. For small children, there is a sandbox, climbing frames, and swings. Towne Lake Recreation Area has 388 parking spaces spread across three lots.

Bonnie Wenk Park in McKinney is a great place to have fun. It has a park that covers more than 216 acres. The park includes five play structures, a first-come, first-served pavilion, two well-lit areas that can be used for a variety of purposes, and outlets or spaces for food trucks. 

The playground was designed to accommodate children of all ages, skill levels, and special needs. For adults of all ages and fitness levels, there is a free outdoor alternative to a traditional gym. 

Bonnie Wenk Park features a playground for people of all abilities, a skywalk, access to a hike and bike trail, and 50 dog parking spots.

Finch Park is a place for recreation, complete with a playground for children and sports courts. It has a 32.4-acre park that includes a new splash pad and playground pods. 

Water features and pavilions can be reserved for the entire day at the park. The park now has a new walking and biking trail, a new pavilion, tennis courts, updated basketball and pickleball courts, and two new pedestrian bridges. 

Finch Park has a large, barrier-free play structure as well as two courts that can be used for a variety of activities.
